WACO (April 17, 2013)--West EMS Director Dr. George Smith says as many as 60 or 70 people died and at least 100 were injured Wednesday night in a fertilizer plant explosion in West.

A rescuer earlier said he knew of five deaths.

West Mayor Tommy Muska said at a news conference however, that he doesn't yet know how many people were hurt or killed in the blast explosion.

They sure haven’t been saying anything like that on the news this evening. It may be so horrific that they are afraid to say much of anything until they have more facts about both casualties and causes. Hope this story is wrong.

Uh, who in their right mind would allow a middle school, nursing home, apartments anywhere in the vicinity of a fertilizer plant knowing the energy potential involved? Holy crap. The amateur video was scary to say the least. Looked like an oversize IED going off.

As JimRob said a couple days ago, Obama is trying to do everything he can to catch the Boston bomber. He and Holder are on the golf course, searching behind every blade of grass.

“It may be so horrific that they are afraid to say much of anything until they have more facts about both casualties and causes.”

When has that ever stopped the EVIL media when the facts don’t matter if it supports there leftist causes, such as Gun Control, Obama is the Messiah, ETC?

“What an absolutely HORRIBLE week..first Boston..now this..unbelievable horror..just cant believe it”

This is all very sad, and it will be interesting how the Bummer and his EVIL allies in the SENATE try to politicize all this. Not as easy as going after the 2nd Amendment.

That said, the most unbelievable horror happended back in November when the most EVIL man ever to occupy the White Hut was reelected. America is on the verge of losing EVERYTHING!

It is time...Damn him to Hell, and it is time...to hold the those who voted for him, including the 25 million evangelical christians who voted for him responsible for the horror that this is for America. God is holding them responsible, it is time for the rest of us to make them the evil perps that they are.

“I believe it too..he is an evil man who brings evil to whatever he touches”

And as far as I’m concerned Obama can stay the hell outta Texas. We don’t NEED anything from him. There is NOTHING he can do for us that we can’t do BETTER for ourselves. I am disgusted by his behavior over his stupid agenda, which is only driven by the “event-du-jour”. UMMM let’s see....he didn’t touch gun control his whole first term when he had the House and Senate, but NOOOWWWW he can use the victims of Sandy Hook....without Sandy Hook he would have nothing, and even with it, he couldn’t get anything done. He systematically is destroying our nation with Obamacare. I hope his legacy of ROT STINK follows him to his grave. And give him as many cigarettes as he wants, maybe it will shorten his life.

Actually no...What they need to do is stay away from this...

Texas does not need any Federal government “help”...Like they would be able to do anything anyway for anyone...

We got this...Thank you very much...We (Texas) will advise (the Feds) when the time is appropriate...

Until then, [expletive deleted]...

Texas City Explosion - April 16, 1947

The Texas City disaster was the deadliest industrial accident in U.S. history. The incident took place on April 16, 1947, and began with a mid-morning fire on board the French-registered vessel SS Grandcamp which was docked in the Port of Texas City. The fire detonated approximately 2,300 tons of ammonium nitrate[1] and the resulting chain reaction of fires and explosions killed at least 581 people, including all but one member of the Texas City fire department.[2] These events also triggered the first ever class action lawsuit against the United States government, under the then-recently enacted Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), on behalf of 8,485 victims.

not news worthy for MSLSD, they’re talking guns and background checks all morning, to them it’s a bunch of southern republican voters , mainly white in a small town so it’s not worth covering.
Boston on the other hand is awful as is the failed background checks.

How can anyone take the radical left wing nut networks seriously and call them serious news is beyond me

bammy and his admin as well as MSLSD are talking about the cowards who never voted for their gun bill, calling them names, calling NRA are traitors, TX is a southern state, a red state, with a small town and they couldn’t careless about southerners, midwestern more southern small towns or the lives which are lost.

To them it’s not Boston, Chicago or NY city so they don’t care

nope, Boston is a northern liberal yuppie elitist city though mostly white people,
TX is a southern republican state and this happened in a small town made up of mostly white people.

MSLSD has not even covered the explosion , instead they’re talking about the failed gun bill and going nuts about it
