The idea that the Federal Government has the role implicit in 'morning Joe's' remarks, shows that he has never bothered to understand the Constitutional balance, or the limited functions given to the Federal Government.
That he would appeal to claimed poll results--even if they were not bogus--shows how little he even respects fundamental liberty, or the origins of fundamental liberty. Would "morning" even have an afternoon, if he did not look better on TV than some alternative talking head with a higher IQ?

When the unemployment rate is 4.9% and Democrats claim $600 stimulus checks to buy election are insurance against recession that will keep us out of recession———AND the Fed caves in to Wall Street and forgets its “dual mandate” is to strike a balance between consumer prices and unemployment—but decides to “get ahead of the curve” to prevent recession at 4.9% unemployment, when recession is not iminent-—then markets figure all that stimulus at 4.9% unemployment will take us from slowdown back to boom—so speculators bid oil up to $151 because they presumed all that stimulus at 4.9% unemployment will both prevent recession and drive the unemployment rate from 4.9% to 2.9%-———Joe Scarborough helped LOSE the 2008 election by blaming Republicans for not going after BIG OIL “price gouging”.....thus I blame him and O”Reilly (who made the same accusation on Fox news in 2008)—and Charles Krauthammer (who talked about Obama’s temperment and intellect and threw independents to Obama before 2008 election). These are the guys who are the RINOs, not people who disagree over deficits and taxes and spending ....
