NM:Judge relaxes release conditions for Reese father and son(Gun persecution case)
Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 17 April, 2013 | David Codrea

In an order granting a motion "supported by good cause" to amend conditions of release filed yesterday, Judge Robert C. Brack of the District Court of the United States for the District of New Mexico in Las Cruces ordered that “ankle monitoring devices worn by Rick Reese and Ryin Reese are to be removed.”

“It is further ordered,” the judge mandated, “that the Defendants … shall be allowed to travel freely within the boundaries of the State of New Mexico [and] that the curfew imposed upon the Defendants … shall be modified to be from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

“[A]ll other conditions remain in force,” the order declared.

Father Rick and son Ryin are part of a family of gun dealers jailed for allegedly knowingly selling guns to cartel members, but who were found not guilty on the most serious charges of conspiracy and had money laundering charges against them dismissed. They were convicted on a handful of lesser charges of making false statements on forms, basically under the presumption that they should have know federal agents were lying. Wife Terri was released on bond last year, son Remington was cleared of all charges, and a new trial for the outstanding convictions has been ordered following the judge’s ruling that the prosecutor withheld evidence from the jury.

18 months in jail without bond. The entire family arrested. Numerous "pile on" charges dropped for lack of evidence. Now, a new trial ordered because of prosecutorial misconduct.

And the person who was in charge of it all: Just appointed as a federal judge.

Meanwhile, this family has surely been financially destroyed. Now, you other rubes out there, pay attention.

When this government wants you, justified or not, you can’t afford the battle and they will have their way until ruination is upon thee.

That’s the part that I noticed too,
Every person involved should rot in prison for life and burn in hell forever.

True. Therefore...why not take the initiative and perform some limited, controlled "ruination?" Quit the second job, cut back expenditures, live simply, discover it's not so awful...then quit the primary job and discover that you are free to quit paying taxes to support the government you know is doing evil with your money.

Why wait for them to come right to your door and demand what they please, and threaten to destroy you if you don't meekly submit?

"Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?" (Patrick Henry, who'd be ashamed to call us his countrymen)

Not sure I understand. How does quitting ones job pertain to the Reeses, Zimmermans, Weavers or anyone else they go after? Yes, I can understand starving the beast and as an alternative approach, maybe the citizens can demand all elections be scheduled for April 16th.
In lieu of all the producers quitting their jobs, this shift of voting date alone could possibly have a profound effect.
As is, politicians have put as much distance as possible between tax day and elections.

If you quit your job and have no income, you don’t have to pay income tax. Then you’re not substantially supporting the government. It’s a form of protest for those who prefer not to break the law.
