Well said (((ping)))!
And, there is no defense for his actions on this. The well being of the people in Boston and the country as a whole should have been first and foremost.

BO'd make a bad screen actor--he only knows two emotions: (1) gloating in victory, and, (2) a temper-throwing meanie in defeat.
He expects victory?
When he's used the office of the presidency--not to unite as he promised---but to tar gun owners and their supporters as redneck clingers who hate women and the poor so much they might even take them out---if they don't get checked by Congress.
No one deserved this defeat more than BO.

Obama's timing was terrible on this.
Why don't his advisors know that the aftermath of an incident like the Boston bombings is precisely the time when people: (1) start having serious doubts about how effective and competent their leadership is, and (2) consequently, stop giving a sh!t (at least for a while) about an issue like gun control.

I've seen him throw fits before.
Next time, I'd like to see him have a total meltdown like the wicked witch of the west.
I hope the few congress critters we have with backbone will keep pushing until that happens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, in particular, are my heros because they refuse to be wallflowers.

He is pissed because he is embarrassed. He must have promised something to his old buddies in the Joyce Foundation.

If you wrote a precognitive book about this President 10 years ago would anyone have thought the story was probable? My guess is they would have thought the story was too far out there to even be good fiction.

Good one! Is it original?
If so, can I borrow it?

Obama is so insane that not locking him up is national suicide, and a direct breach of oath for any and all military and law enforcement.
America cannot survive this maggot too much longer.

I often wonder what kind of promises high-profile Dem politicians make, and to whom ...
For example, Al Gore’s actions after the 2000 election seemed less like a politician upset at losing a close one, and more like a desperate man who had made promises to some powerful people that he would fulfill as President — which he had assured them was in the bag.
Whoever pulls the strings of Dem politicians seems to pull them real tight.

I think he's pissed off because he knows that if Congress won't even pass some basic gun control measures like mandatory background checks in the aftermath of the Newtown massacre, it's not likely that they'e
ever going to do it.
He may also be pissed off because he exposed himself badly (and continues to do so) by pressing so hard on this issue when 26 white suburbanites were killed, while ignoring gun violence among minorities in his own home town of Chicago for years.
