I agree on that. I have a couple of RL hats similar and they are fitted, that one isn’t.
The Bridgestone one though appears to be a match.
Albeit, not sure how much help those are, they are very common brands.

They aren't exactly designer. Both are general sporting good store hats. I would bet most guy freepers here have a closet full of similar ones. I have several like the RL one.
Never mind. I saw another photo and it is a RL one. I guess they have fitted and non fitted hats.

One thing this shoots down is the ‘Lone Wolf’ argument. Based on the age, it could be a lot of things. Islamist, eco-terrorist (albeit, targeting a running event doesn’t fit what they usually do), Occupy types (like the eco-terrorist, not exactly their type of target). Usually a nut though is a loner so working in pairs like this implies coordination and at least less than an anti-social personality or mental illness. The age could indicate either a religious motivation like an Islamist or something like Anonymous (not their style). Too young for ‘right wing anti-government type’ the media pushes. Those are usually old loners. Keeps coming around to an Islamist type terrorist it seems. There is the possibility of some unknown cult like Branch Dividians that would attract young members.
Of course, we could have a Columbine type of case. A pair of young, isolated nutjobs working together.
