At 10:48 PM today gunshots were reported near Building 32 (Stata) which is currently surrounded by responding agencies. The area is cordoned off. Please stay clear of area until further notice. Unknown if injuries have occurred.. Although the situation is considered active and extremely dangerous, an investigation is underway. Updates will be provided at this site when more information becomes available.

What a week, oh what a week, and two more days left as of this post’s time.

Seems like if the bombers were MIT students, there would have been lots of pics of them floating around that the investigators could have found before now.
MIT web site shows “Ray and Maria Stata Center - Building 32” as academic building including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Decision Systems laboratories.
A pair of +$125 pressure cookers when WalMart has them for $25. Golf equipment logo on one bomber’s cap and either Polo logo or Titeleist logo on Suspect #2’s white cap suggest someone having money.
Fox News reporter Mike Tobin - reporting live from Boston - just said the MIT shooting had to do with a robbery... the gunman was trying to flee the scene. Doesn’t look like it’s related to the Boston Marathon bombing...
For those not familiar with Boston, it is important to understand that it is geographically a very small city. Although it might take half an hour to cross with traffic, without traffic from one end of the city (UMass Boston) to the other end, it’s about five-10 minutes on the freeway.
So, in the context of this story—everything is ten minutes from the bomb site.
Cops checking all the local transit. Stopping every train.

Perhaps they have the Marathon bomber(s) cornered there. I wouldn’t be surprised. I wondered if those guys weren’t Occupy Anarchist types....
How is this possible? Mass. has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country.
Twitter is blowing up with this thing... 2 Middle Eastern suspects, gunfights, a car jacking, a suspicious package... sounds like these are the bombers.
