Mayor Michael Bloomberg may have canceled his morning radio appearance today in response to the ongoing manhunt for a suspect involved in Monday’s deadly bombing attack on the Boston Marathon, but another top New York official, Governor Andrew Cuomo, scheduled his own radio interview on The Capitol Pressroom soon after. Mr. Cuomo directly addressed the high-profile situation in the Bay State by employing a phrase he previously used to describe climate change in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy: “the new normal.”

On GWB’s watch, this would be far from the “new normal”.
since when is it ‘normal’ for u.s. citizens to routinely die at the hands of jihadis....that guy’s a real leader, eh? when THOMAS JEFFERSON ...(a giant of a leader) had trouble with radical arabs he sent boatfulls of marines a few thousand miles to settle their hash...and this guy wants to settle for ‘normal’? huh?

Seems to me big government, never-let-a-crisis-go-to-waste aholes like Cuomo are only too happy to declare this the “new normal”. After all, this condition gives the big statists every excuse to grab more power and to strip us of our civil rights. I mean, with the “new normal” being major cities locked down, residents sheltering in place, running gunfights in the streets, we can’t be too concerned about something as inconsequential as the Second Amendment, can we? /s

Yes, in terms of “sanctuary states”; with our climate of letting anyone in who will put asses in schoolroom seats or stop our rising housing vacancies, be prepared for the worst - it is already here.
Yeah, “new normal” - he wants us to just accept it, and accept that he is restricting our 2nd amendment rights, which we need now, more than ever. btw, I happen to live only miles from many acres of land purchased by Arabs.
Hopefully, they are not radical Muslims, but how do I know? I’d feel a lot safer if we had our full 2nd amendment rights.
