New Bedford police said this evening that three people had been taken into custody in their city as part of the bombing investigation.
New Bedford Police Lieutenant Robert Richard said his department assisted federal investigators in executing a search warrant at a home on Carriage Drive in New Bedford, about 10 minutes from the campus of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, where Tsarnaev was a student.
Richard said the FBI took two men and a woman into custody. They appeared to be either fellow college students or fellow residents, he said. Richard said Tsarnaev may have been affiliated with the home on Carriage Drive in some way possibly having lived or visited the house.

They either made the bombs at the home with the married brother or the apartment with the other college kids or someone could have given them to them but somewhere, someone or some other people were involved.
A terror cell of ALL obama voters...
I heard they all used same cellphone bill, and he viisted the house frequently. It was here, i go no where else
Wonder if they used Obamaphones.
Maybe these three are part of the cell. Last night it sure seemed like a lot of calls to hospitals were made. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the bombing conspiracy involved a whole lot more people than just the two scumbag brothers.
Your not alone in that thinking. lol
I cannot help but feel this is not the end. Maybe the end of the beginning.
gives new meaning to being "part of the same cell".
The week-long wall-to-wall may have discouraged some erstwhile ready-to-go cells.
Will the terrorist cell be more or less than 100 people?
I kinda think the exact opposite.
Well... my gut feeling is this is OWS progeny.
Cells are either being quietly busted right now or not.
I don’t see the OWS maggots getting it together enough to decamp to foreign training facilities. If course, I hope you are right and I am wrong.
Some of the Weather Underground guys went to Cuba to get training so it would not surprise me in the least if this generation of the same type do the same thing .
Absolutely correct. Don't for a minute underestimate the OWS radicals. They are more often than not rich "trust-fund" kids who can travel as they please for as long as they please, just like little Marxist assholes like Bill Ayres and his buddies did back in the 60s.
It's just that the latest generation of these degenerates are if anything, more homicidal.
Many eyewitnesses have identified Hussain Hashem Al Hussaini as seen with McVeigh. As for Al-Hussaini, after leaving Oklahoma City, he went on to work at Boston's Logan International Airport, the point of origin for several for the 9/11 hijackers, including Mohammad Atta. One more thing. That motel where McVeigh, Nichols and Al-Hussaini were seen together was later visited (pre-9/11) by Atta, Zacharias Moussaouy and Marwan Al-Shehi. 24 posted on Sunday, September 27, 2009 1:02:41 PM by optiguy | To 6
Dr. Yusef al-Qaradawi used to be listed as one of the societys four directors, on IRS forms. The Islamic Society of Boston was founded by Abdurahman Muhammad Alamoudi and last I heard it was headquartered in Cambridge.

Are these also members of the Wahabbi violence sect of Islam?
Remember that group picture from yesterday?
Yep, Mehanna...a spiderweb full of connections.
Thanks Piasa for the ping.
No arrests in New Bedford. Three people (two men and a woman) were questioned.
I personally want to Thank everyone for having participated and having contributed to this thread. This is timely information which should be viewed and reviewed by federal officials (all of them). And that conviction was for domestic violence. AKA he beat his wife. The liberal war on women continues.
According to this article (ABC News):
7:53 p.m. ET: Three college-aged individuals were taken into custody by the FBI late this afternoon in connection with the manhunt for bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Lt. Robert Richard of the New Bedford Police Department told ABC News. The three people were taken in for questioning, he said.
“taken into custody”
I’m not reading anything about them being released, but perhaps that’s inferred here.
I just posted another thread with a Daily Mail article that I believe goes into this in some more detail:
