The 911 caller facing up to 18 months in jail after falsely claiming he was robbed at gunpoint the night Pasadena police shot and killed unarmed teenage robbery suspect Kendrec McDade has been offered a plea deal, his attorney said Friday.

Oscar Carrillo, 27, is charged with one count of making a false report of a criminal offense and a second count of reporting an emergency knowing the report was false. In exchange for a guilty plea, his attorney said his client would serve a 90-day jail sentence and community service.
