Oh please

Utter be....I along with scores of fellow posters here have smoked pot

It does nothing of the sort

Violent rage is far more common with alcohol or cocaine abuse

Pot makes folks lazy at worst not murderous.....have you ever smoked any?

Neither is it a true hallucinogenic.... its sort of in a class by itself

I smoked copious amounts....never ever hallucinated

Both those lads were named at birth Islamist warrior names

That is the obvious key

And the older brother appears to have been fairly doctrinaire

Good post wardaddy and straight from the heart. Of course what has happened to this country has many, many explanations - some obvious and some not so much. Prayer being removed from school, a culture of abortion, celebration of sodomy, the drug culture, the changes that have occurred with the economy and on and on.

One thing that occurred to me though - we abolished the draft back in the mid 70’s - right after the Vietnam war. So now we’re about 40 years into that experiment. On the one hand - giving military training to those that would use that training for nefarious means - could be thought of as a bad idea.

But on the other hand - I suspect universal military service had many positive effects on society. It probably taught many lessons and had perhaps a leveling effect on society. It probably is one of many possible factors that has gotten us to this pretty miserable state that we’re now in.

Folks who name one kid after Tamerlane...the collector of infidel skulls

And the other... Dzohkar after the Chechen leader who revolted from Yeltsin and subsequented killed in 1996....places all over the Muslim world named after him

Its like Jews naming kids Gabriel or Gideon

Or my particular sub group naming a boy Nathan Bedford or Robert E or Jubal Early

Or Hindus naming kids for early Hindi warriors

And forth....it gives indication nature of the family..not so much a bad thing but depends on ideology....in the case of Islam....often negative consequence

We’ll have to agree to disagree on the nature and effects of pot. When I said it caused delusional thinking, I was talking about the frequent user (e.g.,: every day).

There seems to be a lot of off the wall speculation being made here but the fact of the matter is, the only thing this evidence proves is that these guys were stupid and not part of an organization.

Why do we have to read a British newspaper to learn anything about these Islamic murderers? It seems that our own media have become complicit in Jihad. I have always said that the media gets half of their stories wrong, and the other half they just make up. But now they have become an enemy of the people and the Republic.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations (Book I, Ch 10)
There is a singular American institution dedicated precisely to a continuous virtual meeting of people of the trade of journalism. That organization is the Associated Press, which has been in existence for over a century and a half - ample time for journalists to become so fully immersed in “a conspiracy against the public” as to make it second nature. They don’t even think about it, they just do it. The AP even publicly codifies some of the things which writers who hope for nationwide AP publication will not say. Such as, for example, use the term “illegal immigrant."

Isn't that the only way devout young muzzie males are allowed to have sex?

I agree -- I met a number of clearly heterosexual male nurses in Army and Navy hospitals.

I'm not backpedaling. I'm clarifying. I stand 100% by my original post about pot.
