“Raise it to the ground”? But, they hardly even teach proper English in school anymore.”

Is that why kids are reared, rather than razed or raised?

I’m paraphrasing a little. It was more like “Raise it to the ground”? But, they hardly even teach proper English in school anymore.

Even Raze it to the ground is a redundancy; certaintly poor English.

"Raze it" should suffice.

How about a palace or more geographically correct, a spacious villa?

Last week, the local McDonalds was Razed........ the site is a now muddy field. It was graded and compacted.

Something new is coming. A more modern McDonalds for sure.

That’s a most insightful statement.

It is just surmise or do you have more on that?

I don’t really disagree with you but we did lend a hand. Hitler squandered his entire airforce trying to bomb London to rubble, which certainly helped.

In Mexico, and I imagine other places, the Spaniards systematically built churches over Altec places of worship. When I was at Mexico City College (US owned and operated) in the late 1950s, someone wanted to do a thesis on the mixing of pre-Columbian practices and Catholic practices. They were denied this thesis project.

That’s a good point, but there is a subtle difference here. Mexicans have basically dropped their old pagan religions, and don’t have a problem with the building of churches. They don’t view it as a foreign religion being forced upon them. If they wanted to tear those churches down again, there would be no insanity from us as a result. Even so, I’ll not claim that the history of Christendom is all virtue while Islam is all evil. I will claim there is a marked difference in them today.

Lend-lease in fact kept Britain in the war. We kept Great Britain afloat financially and materially and provoked Hitler to declare war on us for having earlier aided the British Navy in keeping the Atlantic open for shipping.

The churches I refer to were built in the 100 years after the conquest. When I was there in the late 1950s, there were churches were mothers would hang the umbilical cord of their infant in a nearby tree. I also viewed a ceremony in an Indian village that had not had a priest since 1935. It did not look entirely Catholic to me. It was 6 miles from the nearest road. We rode horses to get there. We went to the mayor and his two deputies, gave them some cigarettes and received permission to take photographs. They were the only people in this village of probably more than 500 who spoke Spanish. At that time there were several million people in Mexico who only spoke a native language, not Spanish.

They did that a couple of years ago at 45th & Telegraph in Oakland, CA: razed the old McD's and built a new one in its place.

I know the culture has been mostly replaced by a foreign one. Originally forced upon them true, but could it have all been? No, that’s impossible. They adapted, willingly for the most part.

“Maybe it meant the same to him as it does to you! ‘

That must be why Muawiyah’s jordanian cousins stole the Jewish tombstones from the mount of olives and used them as paving stones in front of the Western Wall of the Temple that the arabs covered with that filth / abomination that will be destroyed soon), and then they used the Western Wall itself as a latrine.

Because the precious muslims wanted to “protect it”.

Maybe thats what it means to you and other alcoholic suckers of the jihadi prostate.

People should look up your FR handle. You name is only hated more by Shiite-eating Muslims than by Jews.

hmm, interesting ~ without any Jordanian cousins I wouldn't know about that, but the family used to own that vast array of ancient ceremonial menhirs in Brittany ~ at least for 1000 years and probably more.

Once the French moved in they began using them as a source of rip rap for rivers as well as paving stones.

Bet the French are jordanians, eh!
