A temple that size is hardly just a cover. Anyway, you may be correct that they just decided to build a temple on the biggest open ground they could find. But it doesn’t erase the fact that this is a Jewish holy site. To Islam it is conquered territory, Renamed Al-Quds in order to rewrite history and mis-identify it.
