Here's the Helicopter footage of #2...Thermal cam and I believe you can see at least one flashbang go off.

Yes thanks for posting. It’s amazing how much heat we give off.

Observations:

Hard to hide from the thermal imagery.

I hope the guy’s boat gets fixed.

You are welcome.

Fascinating. After listening to hours of the live Boston police scanner while this operation was going down on Friday, it is very interesting to match up the video to the audio we heard on the police scanner.

While using the thermal imaging via the helicopter, there was much concern among law enforcement as to where the perp was in the boat: "Subject is on the fence side of the boat... head toward the back of the boat... Is he moving? We have movement: subject is moving his arms and legs... he just sat up for a few seconds... How many flash bangs do we use...?". The police were also concerned how much fuel they had left in the helicopter, etc.

Thanks so much for posting this interesting clip, Kaosinla.

Interesting clip. I saw a photo of him(?) (perhaps it was a cop???) straddling the gunwale so I guess they did take him alive. But with those flash-bangs going off just a few feet from him and him not even twitching - it seemed like he was dead. But - he does have the heat signature. I wonder if he was unconscious from his injuries, or if that truck that ripped open the tarp pumped some gas in beforehand that knocked him out?

I wonder, given his injuries, how he got into the boat without being seen. At this point it doesn’t really matter. We know the outcome :)

I was hoping they would back a truck up, hitch up the boat trailer and take the thing for a nice little joy ride somewhere

There’s a movement going on to buy the owner a new boat...it’s a fiberglass hull worth $30-$50k. Relatives say it was his pride and joy.

It may be worth a million , but at the Pawn Stars Shop, Pops will only give hm $150.00

You could bring the Shroud of Turin in to Pawn Stars and the wil claim it’s really only worth 50 bucks.

You have already contributed to the damage reparation fund - alas, your money will not be spent where it was claimed to be collected for.

A local Coast Guard official referred to his search crews as “Water Nazis” because of their wanton destruction. Supposedly, the damage was paid for, but he said it rarely happened and even more rarely covered all the damage.

Private repair of the boat should be left to the locals, as one was quoted as saying “We are educated, successful and wealthy. We can afford the best police and sleep well without guns. Go fu*k your cousin.” Exact wording may be slightly off, but the context is accurately reproduced.

Let that ‘wealthy’ Liberal local, her family & her friends pay for their neighbor’s boat damage.

Here is a question I haven’t heard any reporter ask (which I guess is no big surprise as they are all more concerned with political slant than getting the facts); since the perp shows up so clearly in the thermal scan of the boat, and the police were searching that area the whole day on foot and by helicopter; how come a helicopter didn’t spot the perps thermal image previous to the homeowner calling in that there was blood on his boat?
