Does the new definition of “African” mean only black-skinned people. Somehow being a citizen of South Africa should make someone “African.”
White South Africans had better enjoy it while they can.Comrade Mugabe is blazing the trail on how to deal with “white interlopers” (yah,I know,that’s Sharpton’s line).South Africa is amazingly rich in resources and has many fine institutions of learning.But 25 years after independence the only black people who seem to be doing well financially are top government officials.I wonder if the time is soon approaching when a reasonable person will be forced to blame something other than apartheid for the woes of black South Africans.

Whites, who built this nation and made it what it was, have not only been relegated to the back of the bus, but their homes burned and their families murdered. South Africans worked and fought for this nation and brought those black South Africans along with them.
Even though the white minority are not even offered menial jobs, they don’t sit back and cry or come out and burn, trash and vandalize other peoples property.
Since the communists took over control of this country the statistics are appalling. Every ten minutes a female child under ten is raped, an innocent is murdered. Over 60% of those polled would welcome a return to the lives lived before the communists took over.

White South Africans don’t have a belief in a stone age witch doctor to hold them back.
They also have a culture of minute by minute critical thinking which aids them in a business culture, which is less developed in african tribal cultures.
I know, I lived there for two years.
I have a white “African American” friend who left South Africa a decade, or so, ago, because of oppression allowed by the South African government. It’s hard to say whites are “doing well”, when government sponsored mobs wantonly murder them in their homes, and then take over their property.
i wonder how much going to school and paying attention while there comes into play?
Seems like a new campaign is brewing over white racism in ZA. Just a few days ago an article was written in the NY Slimes about Capetown as a racist enclave, why? Because it has too many white people and is the only province not controlled by the ANC.
Also from personal experience I agree and can confirm that the only beneficiaries of the current regime are its cronies.
The good news is the younger educated elite circle of blacks are aware of this criticism of cronyism and failure to lift up the standard of living for the general population. The bad news is they are not going to do anything about it as many of them have been steeped in communism by their parents.
But as the new generation of rich educated blacks take the reins of power, they will be under pressure to do something about the cronyism and failures of their communist parents.
Two things may happen:
1. There will be a revolt by people against the educated black elite class led by a crude leader who will allow much bloodshed. Chaos and anarchy will prevail.
2. There will be a fascist dictator strongman who will see to it that no revolt as above occurs. It will be very repressive under this scenario.
If I was a person living in Capetown, black or white, I would be very afraid. And if I had any sway in American government I would back and support the independence of the Capetown province as a political sanctuary for refugees from other regions of ZA.

Interesting, does that include both black and white and do you have a link? I argued with some clown here a few weeks ago that life for blacks is now worse than when under white rule...he could care less how often blacks were being raped and killed under the new rulers, as long as it was blacks doing it (sound familiar?).
When I lived in Houston fifteen years ago, half my apartment complex was white South African emigres.
Yeh if they can live to spend it.

I think SA is almost unique in having alive in one country examples of human development from about the stone age to modern technological society.
There are a few tribes so isolated that they have no conception of money, and white people are just another tribe. Another claims descent, genetically, from the ancient Hebrews in Yemen. Many blacks live much as Medieval peasants, but without a nobility to give them purpose, their slums gradually becoming like modern slums.
But the bottom line is that there is no future of coexistence between the primitive and the modern, with the one choice for a forced evolution of the primitives, or their extermination. Unless modernity is very weak, then it is destroyed.
The Republic of the Cape sounds good. The remaining Whites, Indians, and Coloreds from other parts of the RSA should flee to the Cape. ANC will have full power over the remaining country and it will never be contested. Also, they will still have valuable gold mines (and other resources) in the Johannesburg area.
If being hacked to death by machetes is ‘doing well’, then I suppose so.
