Four reasons why the Boston bombing is more shocking than you think
Rare.US ^ | April 21, 2013 | Jim Robbins

Rather than what was hoped – that this was an isolated, spontaneous and inexplicable act by two troubled young men – it appears that the Boston bombing was part of a long term, well planned, large scale effort by Islamic terrorists with foreign ties to bring jihad to U.S. soil. And if the plot was that extensive, the two most important questions now are, how did the U.S. government fail to detect it, and what else do terrorists have planned for this country that we don’t know about?

I'm not dismissing this statement out of hand, but I'd really like to see what evidence this author has to support this claim.

The stories about this incident as I've seen them to date actually indicate the exact opposite. I had middle-school classmates who probably could have done exactly what these guys did in Boston -- and they wouldn't have even needed the help of their own parents, let alone a well planned effort with foreign assistance.

The really big story here is that it really didn't take much for these two mutants to shut down an entire U.S. city for an entire day on Friday while the second suspect was still on the loose.

I am sure that some group also took note of the fact that a substantial portion of a rather sleepy Texas town was destroyed by a fire and explosion at a fertilizer plant. We have lots of targets just like West, Texas, and I would hope that they are paying attention and beef up their security.

Not home-grown.... inspired by violent Islamic jihad, an ideology that is foreign to this country and all its best traditions of tolerance and freedom to practice religion of choice. These brothers were not domestic terrorists. They were instruments of an international terrorist movement.

We’ll see what Glenn Beck has to say tomorrow or Tuesday. I hope his security is code orange even though Janet Napolitano abolished the terror threat level color coding because it’s ‘Islamophobic’.

It was Massachusetts. That must be emphasized.

The need to believe peace prevails trumps the fact there is actually war.

Here's my dumb question:

If there was any chance in hell that the Saudi guy might have been an accomplice of the two culprits, what would be the reason for the president's wife to pay him a visit in the hospital (assuming the report about her visit is accurate)?

I mean -- wouldn't you want to maintain a low profile and avoid risking some embarrassing revelations later?

Boston Mayor Menino (he was the one in the wheelchair at the presser---injured in auto accident), then-Mass Sen John Kerry and every pol who sucked up should be rigorously scrutinized ---- possibly charged with aiding and abettin terror against Americans.

(BOSTON MAYOR) MENINO'S MOSQUE
The Phoenix ^ | November 24, 2008 | David S. Bernstein / FR Posted by Prospero

Most Boston locals concede that getting anything of substance accomplished in Boston is a Herculean task. Residents have all but embraced the principle of civic inaction with a perverse kind of local pride. In the end, who you know is probably more important than what you are trying to do.

And there is no doubt that little is accomplished without the approval and support of the mayor, Thomas M. Menino.

So it is with the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) near the intersection of Tremont Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. Better known as the Roxbury mosque, the ISBCC has been in the works for more than 20 years. A few weeks ago it finally opened its doors for prayer — five years late, millions over budget, and still far from complete.

While the story of the building of the Roxbury mosque may not be worthy of a Hollywood epic, it does contain the stuff of a good television drama: community intrigue, religious conflict, media controversy, foreign money, suspicions of extremist ties, and once-cocksure public officials who have since retreated into a zone of silence. The MSM is pushing the “home-grown terrorist” line just as hard as they can.

Also big pictures of their 'white white' faces... Not much on their religion or beliefs.. which appear to be totally radical Muslim.

West, Texas as opposed to west Texas, is flyover country.

Boston is the centroid of the Neo European ideaology. The events in Boston, even though the number of deaths is trivial in comparison to a bad car wreck, belie the propaganda line.

It's not just Massachusetts, it's the Boston area. One of the stories behind the scenes here that doesn't get a lot of attention is that the Boston area has many expensive schools that probably would have gone out of business years ago were it not for a huge influx of foreign students like the two who carried out this attack. And since Islamic culture doesn't place a high priority on education for their women (and in radical circles actually forbids it), the vast majority of the students they import from the Middle East are young men just like these two mutants. So they end up here alone without local family connections, with no female companions, and surrounded by people who think they're aliens (literally and figuratively).

Is it any wonder why these places are breeding grounds for this kind of sh!t?

“I’m not dismissing this statement out of hand, but I’d really like to see what evidence this author has to support this claim.”

That’s pretty much what I was thinking. However, it does indicate how much mayhem can be caused even by 2 malcontents without consciences.

I wonder if Boston has signs ALL OVER like we do in the NYC/NJ area reminding people to stay alert and report things like abandoned back packs. I’ve been traveling by mass transit the past few months and Newark Penn station is always being patrolled by cops with dogs, I’m assuming they are bomb sniffing dogs. Havent’ seen the same in other facilities, but I’m not in those facilities very often.

It WOULD be nice if every time something like this happens we didn’t have to listen to the absurd charade of blaming “the right”. Maybe they should just shut up until a person’s motives (or presumed motive, or even lack of motive) are discovered, but the MSM’s great fantasy of a violent right wing is despicable and just plain s.t.u.p.i.d.

I wonder if this will change any minds here in the NE.

Can’t wait to go to work tomorrow and tell my fake Jewish co-worker “TOLD YOU SO”.

I know, very childish, but I MUST!

A relic of 7th. century barbarism notwithstanding, when you have a narcissistic prick for a president who is more concerned with playing golf, going on vacation and holding'' house party def jams'' in The White House is it any wonder sh!t like this is going to happen? On top of said same narcissistic prick having gone around the world apologizing and bowing and scrapping to every scumbag country we should have glassed over long ago, what would anyone expect? When you're the biggest dog on the block and a freakin' French poodle can tweak your nose and bite you on the ass and the only thing you who about it is apologize then you are seen as weak and Hell is going to follow. How much more are we willing to put up with? This son of a bitch of a ''president'' is beyond 'incompetent'', he's criminally incompetent, HE"S ENDANGERING US ALL AND OUR COUNTRY!!! GET RID OF HIM ONE WAY OR ANOTHER BEFORE WE HAVE ANOTHER 9/11?!! OR WORSE!!!!

You might ask where Obama got the money for college or how the hell he even managed to get into law school in the first place. He's never exhibited any evidence (in my opinion) that he's ever studied anything in his life, in spite of being held up as the smartest man on the planet. He's a dunce, a joke and an impostor being held up by his puppetmasters.

Good post.

For what it's worth, I never heard any media reports about this incident involving anyone "blaming the right" for anything ... probably because it's been more than a decade since I've watched or read anything that is considered a "credible media organization" in this country.

In the very wildest dreams of your youth, did you ever imagine that someone could type : Pravda is currently much higher on the credibility charts than the Amerikan Enemedia   and you'd find yourself tending to agree ? !
