Most of the ones I have seen of TV pretty much involved what you have described with the K-9s, the helicopters, a search yard to yard, and contact door to door with people. Sometimes they find the suspect, and sometimes they don’t. They usually end up catching him at a later point in time.

Here's a few more of my liberal beliefs.

We should lower income taxes on wage earners for the greater good.
We should lock down the southern border to prevent more undocumented democrats and terrorists from entering our country, for the greater good.
We should have voter ID in all states to prevent voter fraud, for the greater good.
All law abiding citizens should be allowed to carry a concealed firearm without a permit, for the greater good.
There should be NO deal on amnesty. For the greater good, all undocumented democrats should be warned to leave the country immediately. If they don't leave, then upon being discovered, they will be put to hard labor until they request deportation, for the greater good.

They shouldn’t have seized firearms from people. They should have deputized those firearms owners with proficiency in those weapons to help search for the bomb-throwing little brat.

Amen. 50 years ago the mayor and police chief would have put out a general BOLO and put the pictures of the perp up everywhere, with “dead or alive” instructions.

It’s no coincidence that the civilian found the kid 15 minutes AFTER the “lockdown” was lifted.

None of that can happen in a totalitarian State that you think is a good thing. None of it. So, just how logical is your point of view about totalitarian police powers?

Totalitarian States are a bad thing.

Wasn’t all this crap setup by the recent Defense Authorization Act? You know, the one that declared the entire USA is a battlefield, and that the authorities can nab you and detain you indefinitely without the benefit of a lawyer?

So now they don’t even have to declare Martial Law. They just do whatever Homeland Security wants - It’s a Police State, and the Police have been defacto/actual militarized.

The videoes that I saw were very disturbing. Looked more like a raid on the homes than a house to house search.

Loud knocking and screaming at the residents to hurry up. Sedning them out 1 at a time with hands behind their head and stopping them to frisk them twice and screaming at them to hurry up.

No telling what they did to them indoors. The people were cooperating and hustling to do as ordered, so I couldn’t understand why the cops were sounding so hateful.
