I also hope they do not let him speak at the memorial.

That is a fair question and I wish people would use their heads before making statements like many I see here. BHO has plenty of legitimate flaws and dangerous policies without going into the area of pure speculation that then tarnishes legitimate complaints.

I wouldn't want to be a part of another Obama photo-op. And I think the citizens of West would tell Obama to go back to his fundraiser.

Frankly, I think Perry should have told Obama to shove his "disaster declaration" where the sun doesn't shine. The benefits are minimal, and Texans can take care of our own.

Aid has been pouring into West since moments after the explosion, from all over Texas. The volume has reached the point that they had to say "enough, thank you!".

As amusing as that would be, I can promise you that the state-run media would find a way to make Obama look like a victim.

What would be better is if no one showed up -- except for a few people with cellphones to show the lack of crowds.

Seriously, the locals should schedule the memorial service with Obama at 3:00 PM, then quietly notify everyone it is at 1:00 PM. By the time he gets there, the place would be deserted.
