Greens: Massive civil disobedience if Obama OKs Keystone pipeline
The Washington Times ^ | 4/22/2013 | Ben Wolfgang

“You’ll see … the biggest spread of peaceful civil disobedience in modern American history,” said Becky Bond, political director of the liberal activist group Credo. The organization has been among the loudest opponents of the proposed pipeline, which would carry oil sands from Alberta, Canada, south through the U.S. heartland to refineries on the Gulf Coast.

Credo helped organize a San Francisco rally earlier this month as President Obama visited the city for a Democratic party fund-raiser. The group says it has nearly 60,000 activists willing to get themselves arrested in protest of Keystone, if it’s approved by the administration.

‘60,000 hahahhahah if they get 10,000 I would be surprised.’

Ya’ know, this could be FEMA’s chance to test out all of those camps they have sitting around...

what would be neat is to take one of the bound persons away then you hear a gun shot a couple minutes pass and take another away, another gun shots...

Can you feel it in your lonely hearts club band. No? Just sinus cavity. TFB! Go Sgt. Pepper. Sadly Pike got in deep yogurt over this. Should have gotten a medal of valor for just having to deal with these asshats.

That would be nasty, mean and illegal.

...I love it!

60,000 greenies?

This is like the Serengeti. Separate a few from the herd and toss them a beating. With a reminder to the rest of them.

It could be bigger than that. It could be the biggest civil disobedience in the history of the world! Of the GALAXY! It could be the biggest civil disobedience in the history of the UNIVERSE! BIGGER THAN THAT EVEN!!!

Or it could be a couple dozen asshats with V masks and crappy drums. Could go either way.

60,000 people, driving the pollution-belching VW mini buses to the protest over an oil pipeline.

No sense of irony there at all.

It will get approved. 0bama might approve Keystone directly, or he might sign a budget bill with Keystone’s approval tucked into it so that it gets approved indirectly...but I expect Keystone to be approved one way or the other.

Upfront or behind the scenes. 0bama’s economic advisor Joe Weisenthal just went public saying that 2013 3% GDP growth will be due to fracking.

Too many Goldman Sachs advisors in the White House to not bow to the money.

I’d love to see these retards dropped in the darkest jungle of Africa. Be interesting to see how loyal they’d be to their cause then.

More leftists threaten to burn and loot? Shocker. Massive numbers of people arrested. Media swooning and excuses.

Yet, right wingers are more inclined to commit domestic terrorism?
