I’d like to think the FBI realizes

When I was a young man, the USFBI was one of the most respected organizations in the world. Now I'm starting to think it's a politically correct social outreach organization....

A couple of days ago we learned about the sleeper cell of 12 individuals. I guess that’s not the story for today.

Whew, the feds were worried they'd have to actually do their job. Now, they can go back to the breakroom and relax.

If these were two welfare “yutes” from Cambridge it might be more believable that they acted alone, but it’s impossible to dismiss their background and activities. How likely is it that yahoo #1 travels to chechnya for 6 months, and then he comes back and unleashes this sneak al qaeda style attack without reference to the known terrorist he was seen meeting with on his trip? Hard to believe all this was just a wild coincidence.

Oh I don’t doubt that they were in contact with overseas jihadists.

I’m just saying that they were also likely taking full advantage of their Obamabenefits.

...something helped radicalize this guy, and those trips abroad recently probably helped him along the way.

From looking at the older brother's amazon.com wish list, he looks interested in radical ideology and criminal behavior going back at least to early 2006. I think he was a budding jihadist before he went to "visit his father." He probably got training and maybe funding during his six months there. But his introduction to and acceptance by the terrorists probably occurred long before that.

I'm still thinking that the unsolved murder case where three of his friends were beheaded was some kind of initiation or proving to the leaders of this particular chechyen jihadi group.

Who was paying their freight? Neither of them held down a real job; yet they drove fancy cars, wore nice threads, and someone paid their tuition and rent. And it wasn’t their parents, who were commoners in the back regions of the Caucasus. And who picked up the tab for Tamerlan “Speed Bump” to go back there last year for six months?

Follow the money.

Your post just reminded me of something else on the little psyho’s twitter account. It was sometime in the past year or so that he tweeted “Lost my Macintosh.” Wouldn’t that be convienent?

Undoubtably.

Look at the first name on the byline of the story and the network that he works for. Is anything other than DNC talking points going to end up in anything they present as ‘news’?

It is literally impossible that these two young people had no accomplices.

That is my inclination.

So far, I haven't seen any reports that suggest those two were running their own bomb factory. It has been a week since the initial mayhem and there hasn't been any confirmation of bomb building materials being found in any of their residences.
