The notion of population growth as a threat to our future as a species is totally false.
In fact we are heading in a different direction.
The birth rates keeps on falling far below the 2.1 live births per woman required to maintain population equilibrium.
In Germany, the birth rate has sunk to just 1.36, in Spain 1.48, Italy 1.4, Holland and Belgium, 1.8.

Why else would the elites be obsessed with multiculturalism and open borders?
Because if they didn’t Europe would have imploded a long time ago as their idiotic policies were revealed for what they were.
The genetic losses suffered in Europe and Japan between 1914-1945 can never be replaced. The dead cannot procreate. Combine those losses with modern birth control technology and widespread abortion, and it is easy to see that Western Culture if not doomed will be very hard pressed to prosper. The future belongs to the fertile.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but wound’t it be more appropriate to say “Falling non-Muslim birth rates could see the end of our western civilization?”
Also, don’t AGW alarmists have to take into account that falling birthrate means that PC AGW is less of a concern than it was?

They teach this in economics, as the economy contracts, less babies are born due to not being able to afford it.
Simple cyclical stuff, once the RATS are removed from office (hopefully in 2016) we should start to turn things around.

We may see a correction as the feminist wave is replaced by the women who chose to have families. Germans saw 30% of their college educated women never have children. In the US, it is around 20%. White TFR in the US is about 1.8-1.9. If the next generation doesn’t have that 1/5 that is childless by choice, the TFR returns to 2.0 to 2.1.
What does that mean? I’m not familiar with the acronym.
