The controversial moment SWAT teams ordered innocent neighbors out of their houses at GUNPOINT
Mail Online ^ | 4/23/2013 | Daily Mail reporter

A startling home-made video now shows the terrifying moments where Watertown residents were forced out of their homes at gunpoint as SWAT teams performed door-to-door searches as they hunted the second marathon bomber. While millions of Bostonians waited in their houses on Friday during the city-wide lockdown, the people of Watertown were faced with SWAT officers yelling at them to get out of the buildings immediately. At the time, the Boston police department and federal agents were barely criticized, but now many are concerned about the dangerous precedent that could lead to more police searches using the rationale of ‘exigent circumstances’ as an excuse.

The Marxist/fascist Obama/Napolitano government loves this stuff. Let no crisis go wasted. They are conditioning us to temporary suspensions of the constitution for our “safety and security.” And this while simultaneously conspiring to disarm us. No thanks! I’d rather be armed so I can defend my own home and family and keep the storm troopers out of my home, thankyouverymuch.

And there’s no end to it in sight. The Marxist/fascist government and their sicko sycophant media are now conditioning us to accept the “new norm” of random terrorist attacks and there’s “nothing we can do about it.”

B/S!! The first obvious thing that we can do about it is fire the incompetent, negligent, complicit fascist boob, Janet Napolitano! The second is to immediately clamp down a moratorium on immigration from or financial/military aid to any and all nations harboring or offering aid and comfort to our enemy, the known Islamic terrorist groups. Just obvious!

And while we’re at it, quit harassing innocent American citizens and concentrate instead on deporting the jihadists already in our midst!! You mean you might have to search a mosque for weapons and jihadi soldiers? My heart bleeds for these jihad enabling ah’s. The Muslim community had best start finding and rooting out these jihadi bastards that live and move freely in their unassimilated Muslim communities or they may very well suffer that oft expected backlash from an outraged American public that’s going to come down on them like a load of bricks. This is not Israel, this is not France or Great Britain. Americans are armed to the teeth and we’re not going to long put up with Islamic fanatics bombing our children!!

MA is a cess pit full of communists, socialists and big Govt fools along with being elitist yuppie types.

They came out holding signs saying they won and we’re all boston and how it’s over, er no it’s not and has not been for many years but these fools in that state think it’s a one off.

Letting cops or anyone into your home with no warrant and then these people saying it’s alright shows why many have no idea what our laws are and what the constitution is about and why it was written.

I watched the video, and after a few minutes I wondered why so many people were coming out of that house. Then-—— somewhere on the same web site I saw mention that the homeowner may have been the one to call the police to check the house. We’re all those people students? They all appeared to be the same age. I don’t think the home- owner lived there, but he must have have had his reasons for calling the police. It didn’t seem as tho the whole neighborhood was affected—— just that one house, and after it was found to be “OK”, they all left the neighborhood.

At some point, the cops in black are going to be the new redcoats. I say the day is already here, but some folks still need convincing.

Spot on....what if when these new brown shirts would have confronted a home owner who was armed, then what?

What if those two ladies in L.A. were armed and shot back in self defense?

What if Jose Gurenna(sp?) opened fire?

Judging from recent posts here lately the "Conservatives" here on FR would stand by the new Gestapo Government.

Having watched many videos of the door-to-door sweeps, and believing they were unwarranted, can someone tell me how the national guard gets involved in a law enforcement matter. If I declined entry to NG, I can not see any arrest power within their mission.

Do they have an arrest power that I’m overlooking? How does posse comitatus figure in?

Brit media yet again while our press corps sit in a room with Carney drooling over their messiah and never get answers because real questions don’t get asked.

You know little questions like why did Obama go to bed during the Libya attack and then off to Vegas, ?

You know that little act needs to be explained, imagine it.

Americans are fighting ofr their lives, they have risked their lives, they are waiting for the govt to help them and nothing comes because the COL in Chief went to bed as they fought and yet we have heard not a F=in thing

The post-after-the-fact conclusion on many websites about how “One 19 yr old kid shut down a city of 7 million” is false premise. Can understand Constitutional issues, freedom issues but who wants to be out when city is under terror attack, bombs going off, cops being shot? And with scared trigger happy law enforcement who normally can’t hit what they are aiming at? In other words, the public supported police efforts. This wasn’t like a massive operation to investigate folks underwear drawers or confiscations. Reports of more possible bombs. What about WMD’s like gas? It was unknown how many suspects were involved, sure two bombers at marathon, then a report of another person fleeing on train to CT, report of several more trying to cross into Canada on NY border, report of roommates at 2 perps apt arrested, not to mention other possible cell members could unleash havoc as it’s obvious these two jocks didn’t do this alone, they were financed and pushed as sacrificial lambs to carry out this act. So a fluid dangerous situation that lasted several hours. Obviously the lock down couldn’t be maintained for long term.

Again in this situation best recourse in my opinion is for residents to sue after the fact, since such a tense situation, with obviously a panicked and NON MILITARY TRAINED police force. And if suspect is seen running into homes, police have authority to go inside and follow a fleeing perp so there’s a grey area for example if abandoned car left on one’s property or footprints leading around one’s house. What do you expect the law enforcement to do in that situation?

The other claim in many blogs on this was a test run for government crackdown.. Not discounting test runs like what happened at an IL university a few years ago in Gilman I believe the police have already been nationally militarized and were just frankly scared playing catch up to fluid events. Now we see the ineptness and clumsiness of the behemoth, anyone who heard the open comms from police scanner via internet in final standoff knows the FBI negotiator got lost in traffic, the one and only helicopter was running out of fuel, CNN reporter compromised scene and the press had to be cordoned off, all kinds of issues going on, hardly a tyrannical force bent on dominion. And after thousands of police the kid still gets away on foot, and is found hiding in a parked boat previously deemed secure.

In addition, the firefight the previous night with full auto fire was lots of spraying, raising concerns if this were police, which most likely it was after seeing the 2 Cali vehicles turned to swiss cheese with Dorner on the loose. Still unclear what firearms 2 jihad boys used. Apparently there were individuals in apts ducking down as bullets pierced their walls according to what I heard from grapevine. If anything a lesson for one’s city or town if terrorism occurs. There’s really no safety net in life, just be prepared and prepped as much as you can and adopt to the chaos, as more of these cult members will be rampaging. But in regards to something more nefarious like possible future gun confiscations, the resulting videos would be similar to what was seen in Fallejuh.

This is beyond frightening. Under what authority did these people lose their fourth amendment? Is this considered a “reasonable” search?

I’m curious. How were the cops supposed to know there was ONLY one skinny killer running around?

Seems to me I recall a whole bunch of posts at the time involving rumors of more terrorists involved, even an entire sleeper cell.

Is it beyond reason for LEO to take into account the possibility that the fleeing suspect might retreat to a safe house where more of his buddies were laying in wait?

Also, if the terrorists has your wife and kids upstairs, would you tell the cops at the door he was hiding in your house, or would you tell them all was well in the (slim) hope your family might survive?

In the video you posted, the news reporter referred to raiding houses and forcing people out as “rescuing a family at the point of a gun”.

“Rescuing a family”? Really?

“We” ARE getting ready. Try to buy ammo lately ?”

Bought some today and try to do so weekly. .22LR is a bit difficult to find these days, but I have enough for myself and 5 friends, should the need arise.

“...Sodomchusetts has elected and reelected traitors for years....”

And that they have! Yet, they have the audacity to cheer, “USA, USA, USA” as well as cheer on their storm trooper overlords. The irony is astounding. Only a Masshole could be THAT stupid.

They announced they were looking for 2 terrorists and then got into a gunfight with them while one of them ran over his brother and drove away. So they WERE looking for one skinny kid they saw. Thats not up for debate. Then ... they had thousands of police. I am quite confident they could have handled a few more terrorists.

In that video when they knocked on the door and the guy came out with his hands up they could see he wasn’t the terrorist yet as soon as the guy lowered his hands they forced him to raise them again.

My question is how in the hell did the kid get away in a car with all those police around and not be immediately apprehended. It is almost as if the police and FBI were embarrassed he got away and took it out on the citizens.

The United States is filled to overflowing with small, unimaginative, and ineffectual men and women who need to act out their fears and insecurities with some sort of government badge - TSA, DHS, SWAT, you name it.

In a sane world, these characters would be restrained by the government.

Alas, it is most certainly NOT a sane world, and the Leftist government currently in power, rather than restrain them, now harnesses the aforementioned dolts to harass the people.

But, then ‘small, unimaginative and ineffectual’ characterizes president hussein, as well, and birds of a feather....

A single 20 kiloton nuke, one neighborhood, the terrorist is gone ~ no doubt you had something like that in mind.

What about the rule of law?

What if they decided to increase their search perimeter by a few miles, by a hundred, by whatever it took to get to your neighborhood?

Would you be so understanding?
