Vice President Joe Biden made a joke today at the memorial service for slain MIT police officer Sean Collier:
"One of my favorite poets is Seamus Heaney," said Biden, who is of Irish descent. "I know the congressman thinks I always quote Irish poets because I'm Irish. That's not the reason I do it. I quote Irish poets because they're the best poets and that's the reason why," Biden deadpanned. "And the Collier family knows that, right?"
Biden continued, "But all kidding aside..."
“Stand up Sean!”

It is one thing for a family member or close friend to share a funny memory of a lost loved one. It’s a totally different thing for an imbecile like Biteme to try to pass off this crap as humor for someone he doesn’t even know.
Well, to give him credit, you can’t really blame him if this was just a passing remark, and not part of a funeral speech.
And I give him credit for admiring Seamus Heaney. One of my favorite modern poets. I had the pleasure of meeting him and having dinner with him once when he visited New York.
I can’t seem to find some of the poems I remember, but here’s a good one:

When you plunged
The light of Tuscany wavered
And swung through the pool
From top to bottom.

Biden’s mouth is the reason that zero mostly keeps him out of the public eye.
It’s also the reason that zero doesn’t fear ever being assassinated. Biden would be a worse POTUS than zero . . . . . . . .
