That one mass killing she mentions by Colin Ferguson on the Long Island railroad, my brother was on that train if you can believe it. My mother had to be taken to the hospital because she saw it on the news and knew my brother was on it, he didn't call her the bastard LOL and she went nuts with worry. Unreal. He was in another car and said he almost sh*t when he heard what happened, and said people were asking if anyone had a gun in case this nut wasn't caught. Ya see, when it comes life or death nobody is anti-gun...Unless your Rep. Carolyn McCarthy - D who made a political career on her husbands death. Real nice. The one thing that could have saved him she rallies against. Typical lib. I guess it never occurred to her that if he couldn't get a gun he could have blow the train up or burned people alive, I guess that's more preferable to her than being shot.

I was recently asked to write a recommendation for a Chinese man who had entered the US legally on a student visa, completed a graduate degree in my field, and wanted to become an immigrant. For people in his situation, the default position of the government is to reject the application unless the applicant can prove his entry will benefit the country. The proof includes getting recommendations.
By contrast, when someone sneaks across the border illegally, the government's default position is that they should be allowed to stay unless there is some reason (committed a crime, etc.) for deporting them.
Does any of this make sense?

Ann Coulter got it right again. Too bad we have losers such as M. Rubio, J. McCain, etx. in the senate

Oh, dear God, I’m so sorry for your cherished Mom. That had to have been horrid for her.
I despise the anti-gun idiots.

I think that this female has just about worn out her welcome on FR.Coulter has been a member of this forum for years, and highly respected and is friends with several members here.
Perhaps it is YOUR welcome that has worn out after being a member only a few months.

If “Ann Coulter” is a FReeper, it’s in name only because a search reveals no posts at all.

She has been signed up here since 2000.
Years ago, there was a thread where she was interviewed IIRC.
She has met several times with FR members, including Jim and myself and quite a few others.
Several FR members went to the kick off for a California politician in Southern California where she was helping the conservative with his campaign.
She had a conversation with Shelia Robinson about her new book at the time.
Hi Ann, how ya doing???

Ann’s cult followers should stop posting her trash, heck maybe she posted it here. She used to come on here with her man neck pictures. She must have a new screwdriver coming out and knows no one here will buy it. She may well be right but so what, that doesn’t mean we should take her back. She needs to be banned from having her veal posted here. She is a leftist............new world order type......hey Ann still dating

You have to look at what is said.
There are a number of people that you and I could list here
that sometimes say things we might not agree with.
That is one of the problems with the conservative side of politics...
If someone EVER says ANYTHING that is off base...
a lot of people want to discount anything else you may ever say.
I’m glad I am not judged that way, aren’t you?

I think Ann Coulter does very well, but sometimes she hurts the ones she should love. Bush deserved our scorn on more than one occasion, but Ann can be below-the-belt cruel in speaking out.
Example: Bush pulled a serious boner when he nominate Harriet Miers for the SCOTUS. (It was truly bad. Bad that was universally agreed, in the fullness of time, to be a bad as Kagan. So Bush would have gotten away with it, maybe?). Ann Coulter came out and said it was obvious Bush was "boozing it up again."
That was uncalled for. Ask an alcoholic sometime how devastating it can be to work for decades at something, only to find out their friends still think they're drunks. She's done multiple sins on conservatives since, not the least of which was the early endorsement of the pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, anti-gun candidate for President in 2012.
Having Ann as a sweetheart is a difficult proposition. She can be very abusive to her "spouse." I think it's reasonable to reconsider getting into an abusive relationship.
Disclaimer (To a old FRiend): I do not speak for anybody but myself. I would never propose to "read anybody out" of our community. I don't think that other guy meant to do that either.
