The FAA budget this year is MORE than it was last year, even with the sequester.

This is just like the local schools cutting sports or school bus service when they don’t get their levy passed. These people seem determined to push the public too far.The British pushed too far once, look how that turned out.

Sen. Thune (R) was just on Fox, w Gretta, and she asked him “Why the FAA isn’t asking congress for permission to reallocate dollars?”

In typical too nice to speak the truth, John said he didn’t know.

When are these gutless wonders going to take off the gloves and tell us the truth?!?!

The answer is:
“Because this administration isn’t interested in any solution that doesn’t involve higher taxes!”

Congress simply mandated that cuts be made - the Admin is deciding WHAT gets cut. It's their fault.

But truth to tell, this sequester represents $85 billion out of 4.7 trillion.

If we can't manage that (and we can) then this country's going to hell in a handbasket and nothing is going to stop it.

In order to get back to break-even, we'd have to have like a 2 trillion dollar budget and about 80 years of it. Other than that, we're sunk.

The British pushed too far once, look how that turned out.

That's when we had genuine patriots & founding fathers who loved freedom & liberty and were willing to die for those causes. Today we basically sheeple, who allow ourselves to fondled & groped under the pretense of "security". The first groping that would have taken place back in 1776 would have ended with one dead gubmint groper if it ever came to that! I don't know... I hope your right and that we start pushing back on gubmint that wants to turn us all into slaves. Bastards!!!

When are we going to start hearing about “furloughs” down at the EPA? Weren’t they ordered to cut their budget by 10% also? If not. WHY NOT!

To be honest, it is not being cut from 4.7 trillion, but a much smaller figure, as certain things (SS, Medicare, interest on the debt) are not being cut. It is disproportionally hitting Defense, for example.
