HARRY REID: We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years. When I was in school, I studied government and I learned about the anarchists. Now, they were different than the Tea Party because they were violent. But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it. The Tea Party kind of hides that.

Sounds like ol’ harry understands anarchists about as well as he understands tea partiers. That is, very little. I’ve met both. tea partiers aren’t for no government in any way and anarchists aren’tba bunch of bomb and rock throwing mayhem makers.

No Harry, government is not inherently bad or good. It is just a tool that has a purpose. Harry, think of government as a handgun since you love those so. Put it in the hands of idiots and you can expect bad results. Ditto government.

Your little speech exemplifies what we stand agaisnt....

You and your likes have bankrupted and corrupted a once bountiful and opportunistic nation....you can try to run and hide from that fact....but it is the truth never the less.....

Well, technically speaking, right wing ranges from the center as Republican, then conservatism, libertarianism and finally anarchy which is no government at all.

While still completely incorrect, at least he recognizes anarchy as right wing, where socialism, communism and fascism - mechanisms of the totalitarian state are completely totally owned by the left.

The real political spectrum

Hey Harry!

“Anarchy” is what you have when the president is ruling by executive orders, the AG won’t enforce the law, and congress sends up legislation that nobody has read!

Our Founder had a clear and accurate understanding of human nature, both the good and the bad of it. They gave us a central government with few and enumerated powers, because they knew that power inevitably seizes control to compel the will of one man over another.

Reid has actually done conservatives a favor in starting this conversation. If only we had a champion on the national level to engage this. But, that conversation requires more than sound bites, It’s seventh grade Civics, but the sheeple probably are not even interested in learning.

“True, enough, Harry. Government is not inherently bad and none of us ever said so.”

Actually, any organization is focused on its own agenda and not on the public’s agenda. It is much more important to have a flagpole that is higher than the one across the street, and a more prestigious building, than it is to serve the public. Organizations create faceless processes where tiny people whose only power is to say “no” get to decide for the customer what that customer will get.

Because of organizational psychology, organizations, governments, become evil almost from the get-go. Why do you think so many people loath their jobs? They’re forced to do ridiculous things that do not serve what they’ve been told their function is. As an example, I was told to hire two software developers, which was on of my boss’ G&O’s. Then, my boss did not allow me to purchase them their development tools and they both left. It turns out that my boss got to keep a percentage of his unspent budget; which in this case was about $200 added to his $55,000 bonus. (Money is how you keep score.)

All men have a sin nature. We are, none of us, perfectly good. This is why government should be limited. Others may disagree, but I think that I would say government is inherently bad — I see it as a necessary evil, but it is inevitably run by flawed men and it needs to be limited and checked by a written (and respected) Constitution.

Reid Likens Tea Party To Anarchists, Says "Government Is Not Inherently Bad; Government Is Inherently Good"

He could not state in any clearer terms that he is in direct opposition to our Founders and their philosophies. The Federalist Papers were a very thorough description of how and why government is evil, but a necessary one, and thus should be limited as much as practicable. The Bill of Rights creates explicit limitations on the federal government in every Amendment. We are truly no longer the America our Forefathers gave to us. We have given it away. We should be ashamed of ourselves.

That's an interesting admission... since the Tea Party does not have one member in Congress, since it is not an actual Political Party at all, he is admitting that it is a grass-roots movement that is extremely popular. It wields no political power, and yet controls the decisions of those who do.

"I studied government... "

This Reid character is a fool.

"Studying" and "understanding" are two different things. He's old enough for me to conclude that in his day, his schools (The George Washington University Law School, Southern Utah University, and Utah State University) had not yet become the liberal cesspools they are today.

His purpose and strategy is simple: Accuse your enemy of what you are doing.

driven by the tea party for the last number of years?!?! Seriously!? This country has been driven by one man and only one man for the "last number of years" and his name is Barack Hussein Obama. When we're driving the country you'll be able to tell by the lack of taxes and the increasing number of employed people.
