Not sure if he is a citizen or not. Have heard both arguments.
The older brother is a US citizen, received his citizenship on 9/11/??
I was amazed to learn that there are reportedly only 250 Checkens who are US citizens in the entire US. And most of them are around Boston. Small hunting ground.
There seems to be two sets of laws contradicting each other. On one hand
one cluster of laws say's he does not get an attorney or his Miranda rights.
Another cluster of laws say's he does and nobody can figure out who's laws
have jurisdiction.
This whole fiasco should have been delt with legitimately instead of all this hee hawing
over who gets to stand in front of the fence board.
If-—IF he is a US citizen he is guaranteed the same Rights as any other citizen. If they did not Mirandize him them all they are doing is setting up his release upon appeal.
As a citizen he deserves a trial as we would. If he is a citizen and is tried as an enemy combatant then the ground work is being laid to try gun owners or anyone else who in the future might resist the imperial federalies. The feds will label you a terrorist, an enemy combatant and off you go into oblivion.
If he is not a citizen, gitmo, enemy combatant tribunal and then stretch his neck.
WE have to have protect the rights of good true americans like johcar from racist political persecution by the current right wing government. (sarcasm)
Congress needs to investigate how the government is letting immigrants abuse the asylum program.
They sent the court to impose the legal restrictions, because they were worried that more information would be disclosed that would show the complicity of this administration in stifling the efforts to keep the nation safe by allowing known terrorists into the country.
It was getting too close.
I think Obama ordered his attorney general to make it happen to avoid more disclosures so they could back fill from the information that Glenn Beck is disclosing.
