Time to confront Obama
Jewish World Review ^ | 4/26/2013 | Carolyne B. Glick

Posted on 04/26/2013 7:04:50 AM PDT by Former Fetus

he time has come for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to confront US President Barack Obama.

A short summary of events from the past three days: On Tuesday morning, the head of the IDF's Military Intelligence Analysis Division Brig. Gen.

Itay Brun revealed that the Syrian government has already used "lethal chemical weapons," against Syrian civilians and opposition forces. Brun described footage of people visibly suffering the impact of chemical agents, apparently sarin gas.

Hours later, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Netanyahu had told him on the telephone that "he was not in a position to confirm" Brun's statement.

It is hard to imagine the US was taken by surprise by Brun's statement. Just the day before, Brun briefed visiting US Defense secretary Chuck Hagel on Syria. It is not possible he failed to mention the same information.

>>SNIP<<

No, Israel doesn't want a confrontation with Washington. But we don't have any choice anymore.

The time has come to take matters into our own hands on Syria and Iran. In Syria, either Israel takes care of the chemical weapons, or if we can't, Netanyahu must go before the cameras and tell the world everything we know about Syria's chemical weapons and pointedly demand world — that is US — action to secure them.

As for Iran, either Israel must launch an attack without delay, or if we can't, then Netanyahu has to publicly state that the time for diplomacy is over. Either Iran is attacked or it gets the bomb.

Yes, Carolyne but Obama is busy with the "real" important stuff, like the NFL draft. Let him find out if Lattimore makes it in the NFL, then maybe he will have time to worry about Iran and Syria. Maybe!

Confront him! Please!

Slap him in his smug, narcissistic face!

We’ve had jackasses in the White Hut’s oval orifice before but not to the extent of this monstrous mistake by the clueless American electorate.

Proving to the world that we’re not a nation of race-baiters by electing a totally unknown fruitcake for a president wasn’t smart. It was stupid.

Each day he continues to prove what a total jackass he is and the degree of contempt in which he and that wookie he’s wedded to hold this nation.

Why should Israel think they “can’t” do it. Is Obama their leader?

I see no reason for Netanyahu to confront former US Senator Obama. Israel is a sovereign state and should simply ignore the anti-Semite in our White House. I wish I could do the same, but I am in even more danger from Obama than the Israelis are.

Obama is to busy losing control of his domestic agenda to internatuional security issues. And since his adnministration is under budgetary sequester ( double speak for doing exactly wjhat the House of Saud wants), Obama, the great socialist pustule of America, will do nothing.

Thank goodness for that, because sfter Obama’s latest changes to the command structure to make our military subordinate to the Obama political campaign ( general staff retirements and replacements), our military is in no shape to go into Syria. It would be Vietnam II.

Come on! Y'all know the pressure Obama has been putting on Netanyahu not to act unilaterally. Actually, I don't think the US needs to help... just get out of the way!

When Obama placed those missile interceptors in Turkey, the first thing that crossed my mind was "these things can shoot down Israeli fighter planes". Do you really think our CIC would be above giving such an order?

The jihadist want America involved in this war. When Obozo made his stupid red line comment he all but guaranteed chemical weapons would come out.

It would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous! The jihadists might have used the chemical weapons that Obama labelled as his “red line” in order to get Obama to get involved in this war in THEIR favor, against Assad! I reckon it could only work with someone like Obama!

Apparently Israel completely underestimates the absolute total incompetence of the Obama Administration.

From North Korea to Benghazi, Libya, Egypt and the muslim brotherhood, failing to take advantage of the student uprising in Iran, the "muslim spring" and Venezuela, the Obama Administration has repeatedly demonstrated their ability to mis-read world events.

I fail to understand why Israel who's no doubt been watching the incompetence of the Obama Administration could express "surprise" that John MF'n Kerry wouldn't have the same information as Chuck U-Israel Hagel.

But then again, "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?!"

Israel should do itself a favor and do what they know needs to be done. The Obama Administration and Chuck U-Israel Hagel will blame them anyway. Damn'ed if they do, damn'ed if they don't.

Protect yourself Israel - from the muslim threat in the mid-east and the muslim threat sitting in the White House!

I wouldn’t spend a plug nickel to support the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria. Let them create their own hell....

That's exactly Ms. Glick's point. Netanyahu needs to stop looking at the US for help, put his trust in the Lord of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, and do what he needs to do!

I don’t think ANY president can remotely come close to what a mistake 0 has been. In fact, all of the worst presidents combined can’t approach the mistake 0 has been to the American people.

The American people trust Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu... we know he's telling the truth. We believe in him. We know the situation's bad - as bad as he says...

We also know Obama's not there for him.. Obama's not there for Israel either.. Netanyahu will have to stand alone against evil - he has our prayers and respect...

Obama is like that evil sister-in-law that marries into the family, spends her time tearing the extended family apart, borrows or steals everything, then makes up some huge lie to
get a divorce and take everything. There’s no ‘confronting’, just eliminating.

Pull out of the whole damned mess, stop paying tribute to terrorism and protect the United States. Kick out all the illegals and all the evil Muslims. Send them back to the deserts and camels from whence they came.

Then fire the federal government and force every state government to reform itself. Dump all the ‘moderates’ (they stand for nothing) progressives and leftists.

Clean up this nation!

None whatsoever. They’re all Muslims.

We pray for the day that we get a government that protects CONUS instead of shoveling billions of dollars and thousands of America lives to bring ‘democracy’ to the Muslims.

Stupid Central Socialist Government of Amerika.

Registered this year just to say that? Go back to DU where you and the rest of the anti-semites belong.

My, my, aren't we the touchy one? So why is it anti-semitic to suggest that Israel deal with Syria? Don't they share a border? Aren't they more at risk from the fallout from chemical weapons than we are? Aren't they capable of finding and destroying them? Don't they, in short, have more to lose than we do? So why shouldn't they be the ones to act?

Oh boy, I mis-read your post. I thought you posted "Israel's closer let's take them out" rather than "Israel's closer. Let her take them out."

My bad. I agree, Israel should do what the U.S. won't.

(Humble apologies for the mis-read.)
