NRO ^

Posted on 04/26/2013 8:07:52 AM PDT by Perdogg

Speaking on the House floor yesterday, Representative Hank Johnson (D., Ga.) stood up for some of the most important victims of congressional gridlock: children’s birthday parties and comedians trying to make their voices high-pitched.

And with Obamacare restricting medical treatment we won't have to waste nearly as much helium on frivolous things like MRI machines.

The world is looking more and more like Atlas Shrugged where political pull is used to distribute Rearden metal rather than economically sensible decisions.

I was amazed to learn that the earth’s supply of helium is slowly disappearing into space. It is lighter than air, and so escapes the atmosphere when it is used, and it is fairly rare. It made me think twice about wasting it on a balloon.

I would say he is one of the finest examples of a democrat representative, intelligence and sincerity flows so freely from such as him.

On my last trip to Atlanta, I had the misfortune of driving through this Congressman's district and stopped there to top off my rental car's gas tank.

I looked around and thought 'This is Cynthia McKinney's old congressional district'.

"Hurry UP gas pump. C'mon!"

One of the longest two minute segments of my life.

Johnson is a perfect example of someone who ingested helium through the ears.

Yeah! I’ve noticed that. What up with that?
“Oh, he’s sick,”
“Oh, he’s got dummyassey disease,”
“Oh, he’s old.”
No! He’s a GD anti-American piece of democrat filth. Period. End of story.
Oh, he’s also dumber than a puddle of monkey vomit, and probably cannot read his own name on his Ph.D in African American studies.

This is the same dim bulb who spoke with passion in a hearing about Guam tipping over with the presence of the US military.

BUT, as an added bonus, this is also the same congressional district that gave us Cynthia McKinney (and her father before that I believe) so there is not much hope for sanity there.

Johnson is positive that a sufficient number of helium-filled balloons, attached to one side of the island of Guam, will keep it stable and horizontal.

Just listened to a guy on Cain’s radio show VERY upset over the fact that we as a nation are GIVING AWAY Helium.

Went to the link, but didn’t get much info on the specifics.

Do you know the ramifications of this?
Can you give us the Cliff Notes on the importance of Helium in areas other than medical?

He’s the “best and brightest” of his district.

Like the man with the 100 IQ in “Idiocracy” being an absolute genius comparatively...

Hank’s outstanding score of 70 beats the avg 55 in his district by a mile.

I know it is used in the air mix in deep sea diving like in off-shore oil drilling. It is also used in some types of welding to prevent oxygen from getting to the weld joint, but I dont know if more common gases like argon could be used instead.
