The European Union (EU) is pouring millions of pounds into organizations that advocate state control of the press. For many, the fundinguncovered recently by Telegraph journalist Andrew Gilliganis yet further evidence of the EUs increasingly Orwellian, authoritarian nature. The Soviet dissident Vladimir Bukovsky has for years referred to the organization as the EUSSR.
This is not the first time the EU has sought to control freedom of expression. In 2001, the European Court of Justice ruled that the EU was allowed to suppress political criticism of its institutions and of leading figures. The court ruled that the EU was lawfully allowed to punish individuals who damaged the institution's image and reputation.

I watched the video. Apart from the usual touristic pictures, it contained two political/historical statements: “Gorbatchev! Tear down this wall” (twice), and “Ich bin ein Berliner” . Two grand old Euro.....no, sorry, US Presidents. Fancy that!
(And we know how much the eurocrats love the US.)
How much money have the Feds spent since 2010 trying to convince us that ObamaCare is a good thing. And the Republicans have done little or nothing to stop this.
Maybe they shopuld study how Obama does it.
He has our press by the balls.
When the state resorts to opression backed by force, they should not be too surprised when the voices they silence resort to violence against the state.
In a just world, the tyrants would be the victims.
