The current FBI and DOJ don’t like each other. The FBI is composed of mostly conservative agents whereas the today’s DOJ appointees are somewhere being liberal and communist, IMO.

The FBI agents on site could have barred anyone, including the president, from entering the room. The fact they did not proves their culpability and reduces their startled expressions to drivel.

US attorneys and magistrates out-rank FBI agents.

Not in the performance of their assigned duties. They had 48 hrs to question the perps. That was abrogated speciously by a troop of delegates from the muzzie administration.

Sure they do. The Justice Department is over the FBI and the US Courts are over everything since FDR.

There won’t be any outrage unless more bombs blow up more people, and the perps are tied to this bunch. Holder would never allow a future bombing to be connected back...it’s too easy to deny the connection if another bombing occurs.

I imagine that I will get flamed without mercy for this - and I would sincerely appreciate any non-personal-attack responses explaining where I am wrong (such as historical precedent, etc) but I see too many people getting this wrong - to be against mirandizing the bomber for the following reasons:

It is my understanding that being "Mirandized" is something that the Police are obligated to do upon arrest.
However, they are not granting you "Miranda" rights or any other rights.
They (the police) are merely "reading" you your rights and making sure that you understand them.
Every citizen already has these "Miranda" rights - they are granted by God (as all rights are) to individuals and are simply guaranteed by the US Constitution in the Bill of Rights.
So whether it was the FBI that was asking him questions, or the Boston Police Dept, or Obama himself... the simple fact of the matter is that the bomber already had these rights (especially the right to remain silent) as a condition of his citizenship.

So, if you want to rail against something in this mess - and there is plenty to rail against - that it should be the crappy system that allowed him to become a citizen in the first place, among many other government failures.
Because once you are a citizen of the United States you are under the protection of the US Constitution.

If we - as a nation, and as the self-appointed defenders of the US Constitution (conservatives in general) - start allowing the government to carve out exceptions on the protections of the US Constitution then you might as well wipe your backside with that parchment for all it will mean then.

Again - I look forward to any reasoned response to what I see as the only position we can take as conservatives. Sometimes being right is very hard to do... and sometimes it even bears a high price.

Remember how the media's mantra during the Bush years was, "It's a recession. It's a recession." And it wasn't. The economy was growing until Barack Obama started his campaign in 2007. PPS - Is it because you spell it right the other half of the time? JKJKJK

You are partially correct, but the massive Federal spending binge began under Bush who was sent RAT controlled Congressional passed spenging bills (Bush could not find his VETO pen).

The above chart is not up to date. BUT the chart below is the story being spun by the Admin media......

The FBI doesn’t have that kind of authority.

The FBI, according to Herb, has whatever authority it chooses to exercise. The agents on duty were within their authority to refuse admittance to anyone for any reason had to chosen to do so. The fact that they submitted passively demonstrates their complicity in this obvious coverup.

That position you cited was in part helped along by Lieberman and stupid stupid stupid Graham. Did I mention how stupid he is??

They wrote so that anyone caught doing anything terrorist related HAD to be shown to have ties to al queda, or be working on their behalf. I might have the wording wrong, but you get the idea.

This whole thing is cluster from the word go. The ONLY thing that is clear in this whole mess, is where this admin stands and it isn’t with Americans.

Lamentable as this may be, the law is the law. The kid was an American, and upon arrest, he must be Mirandized.

The Senators and Representatives who wrote these laws during the Bush Administration ought to go back and re-read them.

Is it a good law? No.
Do I agree with it? No.
Is it the law? Yes.
Can it be changed? Yes, of course.

The Official Version is that the kids were acting on their own, not under the direction of a foreign power. In fact, all of the testimony given before the kid was Mirandized stands a pretty good chance of being thrown out of the criminal trial. Of course it is still of much value to the FBI, who are free to act upon it. The politicians are just posturing

Wrong. Miranda "Rights" are the extrapolated result of a Supreme Court ruling and have the shakiest of constitutional underpinning. The US criminal justice system functioned for 200 years without them.
