SB 252 is being fast tracked to limit public debate. The bill squeaked through the Senate by just one vote and now will be heard in the House.
Coloradans: It's time to contact your representative to say how critical it is to stop this costly bill.

Renewable Power Advocates Present Deceptive Rate-Hike Arguments in Colorado House Committee . .. presented deceptive arguments to hide the mandates costs to consumers.
Senate Bill 252 requires rural electric cooperatives to derive 25 percent of their electricity from specially designated renewable sources by 2020. Under current law, which the legislature passed in 2007, rural electric cooperatives must derive 10 percent of their electricity from specially designated renewable sources by 2020.
This state has gone totally Kalifornia. I was looking into moving there at one point. Glad I didn’t.
