His gun-control bill may have fizzled, but Senator Joe Manchin, Democrat of West Virginia, isnt giving up hope.
I was with Pat [Toomey] last night, and Pats totally committed to this bill. And I believe that with all my heart, he said on Fox News Sunday.
Manchin predicted that their legislation to expand background checks will absolutely come up for another vote. Were going to work this bill, he said. I truly believe that if we have time to sell the bill, it can pass, he said.
In an interview last week with NR, Toomey shared Manchins perspective.
If we had had the luxury and time to roll this out differently, maybe we would have ended up in a better place, he said.
This has been going on since Fast and Furious.
Small dealers forced to go along with DEA selling guns to known mexican criminals, they were going to be the fall guys until two us agents were shot by these guns and the whole thing unraveled.
Giffords. The LEOs and parents knew all about the leftist shooter’s mental problems and arrest records. years ago. knew he was losing it.
All this crap. Witnesses reporting a second gunman in the Aurora theater shooting. The three black camo guys running away from the Newtown shooting with rifles. One being tracked on film by above and captured by several officers in the woods nearby.
All this crap is black ops, psyops. Our own flippin government.
sorry, the F&F thing, not DEA, BATFE.
The NRA needs to come out and give this Traitor an F. Mobilize WV.
He’s bought into the Obama directive. If we just explain it one more time the public will finally understand how great it is.
Unbelievable how they refuse to accept defeat. We will just keep trying. Introducing the same bill over and over no matter how many times it’s been rejected!!!
I noticed Manchin last night was at Obama’s White House Correspondents’ dinner yucking it up.
There’s also S. 792 (A bill to strengthen the enforcement of background checks with respect to the use of explosive materials) in the Senate Judiciary Committee for now (Chairman: Leahy). [Powder for reloading.]
” shall not be infringed.”
What is so F’ing hard about that?
