Pro Gun control crowd breathlessly waiting for the next one, even though they admit it won't prevent Newtown or another Newtown (too lazy right now to list all the lawmakers who said this).

I hear Baucus went from being in the running to now all of a sudden he’s retiring. This is bad. This has Obama’s fingerprints all over it. They are definitely trying to hurry up and change the equation, and according to GOA they don’t have all that far to go:

They have a sense of urgency to this that is profoundly disturbing. It feels like there is a timed event someone up high is positioning for.
