It is entirely possible that we have a public so spectacularly ill-informed, we are no longer capable of governing themselves. Heres an April tracking poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation: Four in ten Americans (42%) are unaware that the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) is still the law of the land, including 12 percent who believe the law has been repealed by Congress, 7 percent who believe it has been overturned by the Supreme Court and 23 percent who say they dont know enough to say what the status of the law is.
With the public so vague on whether or not Obamacare is actually law, we should take all poll results with a grain of salt. But the law is even less popular than when it passed:

Its not just lack of information; It's a lack of moral fiber, an unwillingness to take responsibility for their own actions, a desire to defraud their neighbor for personal gain, and a willingness to accept the 'too good to be true' scams of politicians.
Well said, well said!!!
Those 42% are in for a surprise and shock.
First time the law gets crosswise with my medical care I’m gonna’ track me down a member of that death panel and that’s the end of that. Only takes one complaint to put an end to public ignance about the law.
I’ve said it again and again, the American public is stupid, and uninterested.
What 52% of voters know is:
Obama is black.
Black is cooler than white.
We need a cool president.
They don’t think its the law, because they haven’t seen all that free stuff coming their way.
Looking carefully at the law, the young and dumb will pay alot, as previously uninsured 20 somethings working part time jobs will be forced to buy insurance.
Guess what happens next, with the uninformed masses?
They will be told that the 1% and GOP are the meanies who won’t raise taxes, and this is why Obamacare is stealing their refund anticipation loan at H & R Block.
Most will believe it.
In my opinion, I believe the general public has always received their info from the alphabet TV stations, ABC/CBS/NBC and the main stream media newspapers. These media types support the current administration and the public either have no time or do not care to explore the cable channels and internet sites for info on the ‘other side’. Just my opinion.
Grammar police here: it is either we/ourselves or they/themselves. NRO, get better proofreaders.
and queers can play basketball
Second that. The GOP underestimates the power of "cool".
I disagree. Those 42% are more like pets than people and are perpetually cared for by the welfare state. In spite of contributing nothing to the society and nothing to their own care and well being they get to dictate terms of their own useless existence because they get to vote just like you do. Each and every time they will vote in the affirmative when asked if they want their freeloading to continue. They have no honor, no shame, no purpose but to breed and that is about the only thing they do well.
I’m not surprised. Nearly all of the Dem voters are happily ignorant to the results of the policies that they support. They don’t care about educating themselves and willfully WANT to be RULED by others.
In addition, the ruling class is happy with this ignorance. It allows them to blame “evil business” for the failures of this policy. Just listen when the full impact starts hitting people, they will be PO’d at those damn insurance companies for raising rates.
“First time the law gets crosswise with my medical care Im gonna track me down a member of that death panel and thats the end of that. Only takes one complaint to put an end to public ignance about the law.”
This is a very good point. It will be “interesting” to see a lot of angry people roaming around with nothing to lose.
Ignore the statute. Mass non compliance.
What? Obamacare is not dead? I distinctly recall the Speaker of the House state that his first order of business would be to kill it. Have I been duped?
