Can’t watch him...did the people in the audience have wistful looks on their faces?...did they give him a standing ovation?..... I think all of us would have!
For others not familiar with The Dilbert Principle (paraphrased because I don’t have the book in front of me): Upper Management will pick the poorest performer from a group and make that person Manager of the group. It’s a sort of feedback loop in coordination with The Peter Principle.
The idea is, if you pick the best performer, you have just cut the best individual in the team from the work product. Instead, move the deadwood up to have the least disruptive effect on the group as a whole.
Obastard is more of an illustration of The Dilbert Principle than of The Peter Principle.
Dolt. I'd help him pack just to see that they don't take things that belong to the White House like Hillary did.
This is Malignant-Narcissist-speak for ‘you don’t deserve the singularly amazing person that I am so I ought take my marbles & go home, thus depriving you of my awesome presence’.
It is this major, inherently destructive personality disorder, Malignant Narcissism, which is now running amok, which will ultimately do Obama’s second term in. The more he perceives even hints of criticism, the more snotty, angry, high-handed & rebellious he’ll get. It’s just a matter of time before he steps in it big time. Mark my words.
And sparkly thigs raining down!
An excellent analogy. Because for BO to be an illustration of The Peter Principle, you'd need to assume that he was competent to begin with. :-)
Correct.
