They’ll have ‘morning after pill’ stings by local LEOs like they do for stores selling booze or cigs, right?

Cephalosporin-resistant Gonorrhea was actually my first thought when I saw the words "Morning-after pill."

I first became aware of this exact link several years ago.

According to testimony offered to the FDA in 2004, sexually-transmitted infections soared in the British Isles when “Plan B” (the morning-after pill) was made available without prescription in 2000. Ignoring the warning signals from the UK, California subsequently became one of the first states to permit the sale of Plan B over-the-counter without an age limit. (Compiled testimony of Wendy Wright, Carole Denner, and Jill Stanek, "The Morning-After Pill: An Ill Wind This Way Blows.")

Sexually-transmitted diseases then skyrocketed literally tenfold--- well, read abut it here:

How Does Planned Parenthood Explain This? (Link)

This is so disgusting--- even Sebelius was initially against this (or so she says -- who can you believe?) -- but Obama overruled her.

Gonorrhea pictures (Link) Don't click unless youhave a strong stomach. Gonorrhea is sexually maiming, can sterilize both males and females, is very painful (especially, they say, to males) it can kill newborns, and --- unless effectively treated--- it can kill YOU..

And we're talking about the emergence of strains of gonorrhea that resist all presently known antibiotics.

You’re absolutely right but now the age of boyfriends & perps who can bully these girls has been lowered. And now there will be enormous marketing efforts to induce girls (you’re smart enough and old enough and you know better than any parental authority what you need!) to take these with no more thought than taking a vitamin. And no doubt they’ll be free under obamacare so we’ll all be paying to pump chemicals (whose long term effects are unknown) into our girls in order to make them convenient objects for others. This is just so wrong, but most especially wrong in a society where sexual abuse is so rampant. When something’s free, it seems all the more likely that it will be overused and abused.

Kids are not allowed to take Aspirin at school, but they are allowed to buy a pill that causes abortion at age 15...

Makes sense to me: "I've got a headache" is a pretty good birth control on its own.

You're right about the age of boyfriends being lowered, though I would think most such situations involve older "men" (I could be wrong about that).

The cost issue is actually an interesting point. As it stands now (pre-ObamaCare), moving a drug from prescription-only to over-the-counter often actually increases the cost to the consumer, because most insurance does not cover over-the-counter drugs. I don't believe ObamaCare covers (or forces insurance companies to cover) over-the-counter drugs, and I believe (based on what I've seen in my employer-sponsored HSA) it actually prohibits FSAs and HSAs from reimbursing for over-the-counter drugs without a doctor's prescription. So, making "Plan B" over-the-counter may actually make it less-accessible, because it may be more expensive.

As long as every pill comes with a child molestation conviction. The fruits of sexual education in schools instead of homes.

I wonder what the percentage of suicides will be compared to children who did not take this pill. Bet its at least 300%. A bonus for the Obmamabots. Two kids for the price of one.

I don't believe ObamaCare covers (or forces insurance companies to cover) over-the-counter drugs,

This is part of the much-contested HHS mandate requiring coverage of contraceptives (including so-called emergency contraception that includes abortifacients such as Plan B) and sterilization. If I'm not mistaken, it includes devices too, such as IUDs or products such as foam/sponges which are available OTC. We'll be paying for all these products to make our girls as available as possible for consequence-free sex for the guys. It disgusts me beyond words.

PP’s website recommends keeping a stash in your night stand.

I can only shake my head.
