Read the article...there was some unnamed GOP house aide quoted making excuses already. (Shaking head)
An aide to a Republican member of the House Homeland Security Committee speculated Tuesday about why the Obama administration contradicted the knowledgeable Saudi official.
It is possible the Department of Homeland Security received the information from the Saudi government but never passed it on to the White House, the GOP staffer said. ‘Communication between DHS and the White House’s national security apparatus isn’t always what it should be.
‘I can easily see it happening where one hand didn’t know what the other was doing because of a turf war.’
‘Just like the different agencies in the Boston JTTF [Joint Terrorism Task Force] want credit for breaking the Tsarnaev case,’ the aide added, ‘they sometimes jealously guard the very intel they should be sharing the most freely. Sometimes it makes no sense at all.’
Giving the aide the benefit of the doubt, he could be correct, the info did not go beyond DHS and given the source of the info, that means Crapatano will be under the bus faster than I thought it would happen. The little O has to protect himself here at all costs and if this comment is any where accurate, it means she is a goner. If she opens her mouth, she will be enshrined at Ft Marcy Park for sure.
The aide also makes mention of the whitehut national security apparatus....in 2012 that would have been Brennan, right? The plot thickens.
One of Boehner's minions at work in all probability.
Wasn’t the whole reason for creating the Department of Homeland Security, yet another bumbling Federal bureaucracy, to prevent the reconstruction of the infamous Gorelick wall, that restricted communications between agencies?
That all goes to illustrate voting the bas’ards out isn’t that effective if the aides find new employment with the incoming newbies..... Retire them all says I.
