Health Care: At his press conference this week, President Obama tried to reassure Americans about ObamaCare. Instead, he displayed either an incredible lack of understanding about his own law, or something far worse.

Asked about increasing Democratic concern over what Sen. Max Baucus called a looming ObamaCare "train wreck," Obama claimed that it's all much ado about very little.

But almost nothing he said in defense of ObamaCare was accurate. Among his statements:

Just How Ignorant Is Obama About ObamaCare?

Not at all, he the master of the Alinsky method, which is to obfuscate and lie in order to produce the change he wants - the Total Transformation of the United States into a Socialist/Progressive regime.

I’d bet everything I have that he has NO clue what the bill even says, let alone what the 7’ of regulations are. All that is way way way above his pay grade.

Last 'graph of the article:With all due respect, I believe it's neither. nobama has to push this through, warts and all, to set a standard. Of course, it will be a horrible standard. But that's by design. A horrible, unworkable system for consumers makes it all the more easy for nobama to later say, "Well, despite our best efforts and 16 hour work days for months on end, nobamacare didn't work. Our only choice now is to pick up the pieces and mold them into a single payer system. That will solve all the problems."

nobama is desperate to federalize health-care which, IIRC, is about 6-7% of the economy and growing.

Dear Mr.

Thank you for contacting me about health care reform.

As you may know, the House of Representatives passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 on March 21, 2010 and President Obama subsequently signed them into law. I voted against both of these bills.

The PPACA and Reconciliation Act will cost $938 billion and increase taxes by $569 billion over ten years, hurting small businesses and middle class families. The legislation imposes both an individual mandate taxing individuals who do not purchase authorized health insurance and an employer mandate requiring companies with more than 50 employees to provide health insurance or to pay a penalty to the federal government in lieu of providing health insurance. This mandate on employers will hurt job creation. Thanks to this increased regulation and higher taxes on insurance policies, health insurance premiums are expected to increase significantly, which may discourage employers from offering health insurance. In addition, the legislation fails to adequately ensure that individuals applying for subsidies or enrolling in Medicaid are U.S. citizens. It will also permit federal funds to be used for abortion.

On June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court upheld the health care law, ruling that the most controversial portion of the law, the individual mandate, is valid because of the congressional power to tax. While I respect the Court, I could not disagree more with its decision.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, Congressman Eric Cantor (R-VA) introduced H.R. 6079, the Repeal of ObamaCare Act, which would repeal the PPACA. On July 11, 2012, the House of Representatives approved H.R. 6079 by a vote of 244 to 185. I am a cosponsor of H.R. 6079 and I voted in favor of its passage.

I believe that the health care system needs reform and that all Americans should have access to affordable health care. The federal government can achieve this by encouraging health insurance companies to offer a wide variety of plans that cover a wide variety of health conditions. The key to meaningful reform is not more government intervention, but rather allowing the free market to control costs and improve quality through choice and competition.

Thank you again for contacting me. Please do not hesitate to do so again in the future. I also encourage you to visit my website, which may be found at flake.senate.gov.

Sometimes my letters get intelligent responses....sometimes.

But how does a Senator Co-Spnsor a House bill? As I said...sometimes.

The Democrats didn’t coin the expression “Ignorance is bliss”, but they have long adopted it, and it works for them!
