JEFFERSON CITY — Republican state senators reacted with outrage Wednesday as federal fraud investigators testified that they had sought three times to obtain a list of Missouri's concealed gun permit holders, which the lawmakers denounced as an unjustified invasion of privacy.

the two progressive enclaves of St. Louis and Kansas City are totally unlike “outstate” Missouri, which is conservative

Good work, Missouri; let’s hope the rest of the country shows comparable backbone.

But it is also evidence that densifying dependent populations nullifies your vote as well.

The old, “I tried it but I didn’t inhale” routine. Yeah.

"Never analyzed" isn't the point. It was illegal for Gov. Jay Nixon to give the lists to anyone in the first place. (He signed the bill!)

I applaud the MO legislature for staying on this, and I hope the story/problem reaches its real, logical, truthful conclusion.

Missouri is pushing back against unlimited federal power.

At least on RKBA. Mo is whole-heartedly adopting Common Core though.

"Nope,never analyzed in any way."

Well, the Feds have a Watch List populated with 750,000 residents of the US. Are they actually watching ANY of them? Not bloody likely.

Just because the Feds failed to get the information legitimately, does not mean they don’t have it.

The breach of Missouri records is a crime that so far the ruling class has given itself a pass for committing.

However, if a private citizen were to have done the same thing, you can bet these same officials would push themselves in front of the cameras to show the public how forcefully they are protecting data that must remain confidential.

Now we see that the Governor received a letter for Big Sis thanking him for his help in complying with her efforts to impose “REAL ID”. He had previously signed the Missouri law that make it illegal to do so. So clearly the laws don’t apply unless he sez they do.

My question to Missourians: are we going to have tar and feathers or just an impeachment?

Sorry if I don’t believe a word the feds say about this. It was analyzed and stored in a database. Mark it down.

Those that turned this over should spend about 25 yrs. in the state pen. Fascist dirt bags.
