Being a reader of detective fiction, the case was immediately clear to me. In Trayvon's case, what actually happened is that Zimmerman, who has white blood ... somehwere... was in the throes of an epileptic fit, repeatedly bashing his head against the pavement, when young Trayvon on his way to a study session from a cello lesson, put down his cello case, his briefcase, the Meals on Wheels, his Bible, and his autographed first edition of Rouge et Noir and rushed to the maniac's, (who had some white blood) aid. In attempting to aid the crazed racist, who has a white ancestor. (As you may know, white people and others once owned slaves in the US.) Trayvon, thinking only of saving Zimmerman (who in the past has claimed caucasian ancestry,) was oblivious to the fact that Zimmerman was hallucinating and that the moonlight flashing from his grillwork was confusing the deranged gunman, who cold bloodedly emptied several clips from the magazine of his deadly Kel-Tec automatic revolver, which ought to be banned. Zimmerman (who is whitish) has admitted speaking to several white people earlier that day.
The rest of this tragedy will be revealed at trial. Zimmerman (a semi-caucasian) will be sent to Devil's Island. Trayvon will be mumified and his body is to be put on display in the Vatican prior to his fast-track canonization. The profits from sales of Trayvon logo gear are, after family expenses are deducted, are to be dedicated to worthy causes, to be chosen by Attorney Crump.
I (whose white ancestors knew other white people and all went off to war together to free black people) have a suggestion. Why don't Twitter and Facebook ban the use of the "N" word by young Negroes in their posts, not to mention the flashing of gang signs and the glorification of crimes.
I am mortified. If we do-gooder New Englanders (or our ancestors and predecessors) had just left the Confederacy alone, Trayvon would be alive today. Wearing pantaloons and a bandanna, whistling a happy tune, and picking cotton. But alive.
