Question: Of the 72% who say they’re not feminists, how many of them are trying to think of a new name that describes what they are that doesn’t turn everyone against them the way “feminist” would?
Feminazism has not been defeated. They still hold power over the country by intimidating the politicians.
I’ve met quite a few radical feminists, who said that they weren’t feminists. They claimed to be conservative or old fashioned. They weren’t conservative or old fashioned. So in that way, they’re like (L)libertarians.
Have you ever noticed that in spite of Islam's anti-feminism, it doesn't seem to stop radical feminists and radical Muslims from supporting the same left wing politicians in the US and in Europe.
This is just sneakiness and hypocrisy. There is a contingent of females who want to have their cake and eat it too. So they claim they’re not feminists because they still want the guy to pay for the date, the drinks, the kid, but they also want the guy’s jobs, clubs, leisure activities, etc, amd rhe guy to have no say-so. So they just claim they’re not “feminists”.
Feminism has turned from something that might be taken seriously, as people wondered if the women's movement might have a point, somewhere, into a pathetic form of begging. There is no dignity in "I want someone to pay for my hobby. Guy's won't fork over enough to cover condoms, so you should pay so we don't have to."
Liberals love to frame feminism as a loaded question, e.g. if you don’t support the feminist agenda, you oppose “equal pay for equal work.” The fact is, feminism is NOT about “equal pay for equal work,” it’s about trying to frame women as a monolithic political entity with special prerogatives, combined with a war on men and on masculinity. People who were sold a bill of goods on the “equal pay for equal work” line are now coming to realize what it was really all about.

There is no dignity
Anybody who feels the need to tell the world all about his/her private life basically forfeits a right to dignity. The begging part was just the icing on the cake. What's amazing is how many libs have embraced Miss Fluke as an icon rather than recognizing her as a walking embarrassment.
Since half of us are males that makes sense.
I might add that feminist can be changed to baby killers. The two are interchangeable.
They really have no feelings for women as we note that they never say a word about females in Muslim countries.
You notice when feminists want equality, they want the 6-figure job with the mahogany desk. I don't remember the last time I saw a female garbage collector or septic tank cleaner.
No. Feminism won. What used to be “feminist principles” are now the new normal. Most if not all women want and have a career, have shed the “burden” of keeping house and children, etc. Men are now minorities in college; boys who act like boys are drugged; fatherless children are norm, women are usually the head, etc.
Feminism today is simply far more radical than feminism in the past - like “all heterosexual sex is rape” radical. In fact, it is so far out there that less than 30% of women call themselves call themselves “feminist.” Hence the fact that most women have dropped the description of “feminist.”
It says everything about the messed-up priorities in this country when we’re willing to socially-engineer our military with women in combat, but the professional sports teams still operate on merit.
Considering how many condoms she claims to go through, we seem to be talking about a major expense.
Good point. I’m sure over 90% of Dems would say they’re not communists, but the same phenomenon would be at work. You can’t trust self-identifications.
A better test would be to list 10 common planks of feminism, an ask women if they agree or disagree. I think the number that was mostly in agreement would be higher than 28%.
When the war is over you quit fighting.
For the last twenty years (at least) the war for equality of opportunity has been over. Now those still fighting are going after women who want to be wives and mothers or who just see themselves as women not men with breasts.
This is not a popular position with most people.
