BOSTON (CBS) The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev is now at a funeral home in Worcester.
Peter Stefan, owner of Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlors, told WBZ-TV Friday he is handling funeral arrangements for the Tsarnaev family.
Stefan said his staff has experience with Muslim services, which includes washing the body and preparing it for burial.
A police cruiser parked outside the Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlor Friday. We take care of a lot of Muslim funerals here, throughout the state, Stefan said, and this was no different, except for the circumstances.
A burial site has not yet been located and its not clear yet when a service will be held.
Normally, with Muslims its usually done sometimes as the same day, but no later than the following day, but we dont have that option with this, he said.
WBZs Beth Germano has confirmed that two cemeteries, one in West Roxbury, and one in Enfield, Connecticut, have turned down requests to having Tsarnaev buried there. Cemeteries in New Jersey have also said no.
Stefans funeral home will have paid police details outside throughout the weekend.
He told WBZ he is prepared for protests.
Youre always going to get a certain amount of people that are probably going to complain about what you do, he said.
I go back to the time when Lee Harvey Oswald died, somebody buried him. Timothy McVeigh, somebody handled that. Jeffery Dahmer, somebody handled that. Ted Bundy, somebody handled that. I mean, we bury the dead. Can I control what the circumstances are around their death? No. Can I pick and choose? No.
Would you criticize the medical people who saved the life of the other guy? (Tsarnaevs brother Dzhokhar)
Several protesters showed up outside a funeral home in North Attleboro Thursday night when Tsarnaevs body was taken there after it was released by the state medical examiner to the family.
Stefan said that was because of a mixup and that the body should have been brought directly to his business.
The official caused of Tsarnaevs death has not been released yet, but WBZ has confirmed his death certificate only says pending at this point in the case.
Dump him in the ocean with Bin Laden?
Cremate the BASTARD and scatter his remains in a PIG PEN!
My sister used to live in Worcester
Toss him into any active volcano.
Grind Speed Bump up and mix him with Spam. Place the remains into cans that read: “To Hell with Mohammadan terrorist!” and sell the cans to people who want something to ward off those of Tsarnaev’s ilk.
Maybe cremate him?
(inspired by Monty Python sketch)
“Now there’s three things we can do with your terrorist. We can bury him, burn him, or dump him.”
“Yes, dump him in the Charles River...oh, were you fond of him? Right, we won’t dump him then.”
(Later the sketch skews toward eating the deceased...)
“Excuse me...are you suggesting eating my mother?”
“Yeah—not raw...cooked! Just sprinkle some celery, a couple stalks of broccoli...”
“Well to tell you the truth I am getting a bit peckish myself.”
(The sketch ends when someone says the Queen is watching.
Everybody on stage, and in the audience, stands up
as “God Save The Queen”—aka “My Country Tis of Thee”—
Let me claim him...
There are some hungry pigs around here somewhere.
Terrorirst should learn they will become pig shit when we catch them
Submerge his sorry carcass in it and put the lid on.
Put it on display in downtown Boston.
Wherever the remains are buried, please locate on a map so that we can dispose of the megatons of pig Obama that we’re saving for that smelly muslime.
50 yard line at a football stadium.
Shove a pork rind up his backside and slide him into the incinerator.
Bill 'em for all services provided so far, accept cash only at the time of pick-up and be sure to have every news agency on the planet covering the transaction.
No cash, no body .. and the daily rate will increase as they delay and obfuscate
There are underwater volcanoes!
