Posted on 05/03/2013 4:33:55 PM PDT by bgill
Two more people have been arrested in Seattle and New York, FBI officials said yesterday, as investigators tried to break up a suspected terrorist network they believe was plotting a bomb attack against a US target .... Graham Fuller, a specialist on Islamic extremism and a former CIA analyst, said: "I'm a little sceptical about the possibility that the GIA is now targeting us because it would have been accompanied by some kind of rhetoric. Therefore I would speculate that these guys are working on their own or hired by someone else."
And Mr Fuller argued that Mr Ressam's Afghan training was not conclusive evidence of a Bin Laden connection.
"Virtually every serious mujahed, every Islamic fighter, would have been in Afghanistan, would have received training for building car bombs, and would probably have come across Bin Laden. We have to be careful when we talk about 'links'."

Boston Bombing Ping!
Fuller helped get us in this mess
The policy of guiding the evolution of Islam and of helping them against our adversaries worked marvelously well in Afghanistan against the Red Army, explains a former CIA analyst. The same doctrines can still be used to destabilize what remains of Russian power, and especially to counter Chinese influence in Central Asia. In a certain sense, the Cold War is still going on. For years Graham Fuller, former Deputy Director of the National Council on Intelligence at the CIA, has been talking up the modernizing virtues of the Islamists, insisting on their anti-Statist concept of the economy. Listening to him, you would almost take the Taleban and their Wahhabi allies for liberals. Islam, in theory at least, is firmly anchored in the traditions of free trade and private enterprise, wrote Fuller. The prophet was a trader, as was his first wife. Islam does not glorify the States role in the economy.

Have they connected them back to Kevin Bacon yet?
Hahaha, you don’t know but I typed the same about 3 times but deleted each time. Circles within circles, six degrees and the old Lincoln/Johnson/Kennedy trivia. But, still, a lot of weird stuff.
LOL...it was the first thing that came to mind when I read your comment. GMTA.
Re “Have they connected them back to Kevin Bacon yet”?
I’ll try. Graham Fuller - first name same as that of author Graham Green. “Green is also in “Green Eggs and Ham”. “Ham” is related to “Bacon”.
I’m sure Kevin Bacon eats both. Voila’! Ze connection is established. That was easy.
Also, K is the first letter in Kevin Bacon’s name and also the first letter in the world “Kosher”. SO now we have “Kosher Kevin Bacon”.
Put that in your pan and cook it!
“There is no reason to believe at this time, that there are more people involved. We think that these two acted alone”.

That has to be one of the nut job list.
The assclowns decided not to level UBL’s training camp prior to 9-11; Path to 9-11.
Imagine a 100,000 muslim jihadis with H-1B and L-1 visas working in power plants, fertilizer factories, refineries, chemical manufacturers, hospitals, utilities, dams, pharmaceutical formulators, web hub server farms, municipal water supplies, sewage treatment plants...
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I dont add you to the list...

Shouldn’t he have turned the terrorists in, surely he would have recognized them?
Obstruction of Justice?
oh great....just before I thought I was going to get a sound night’s sleep.
ah well some nightmares occur in the daytime
Note that Richard Labevier was the guy who claimed Osama bin Laden had kidney problems and needed dialysis. [Which incidentally is the same claim made about Saddam Hussein when some folks wanted him to be left alone because due to the alleged illness he’d be gone soon anyway.] Not sure how reliable his reporting of the quotes of other people may be.
If I can’t sleep, why should I let you sleep?
well there you have it.....;)
Except that is exactly what we have done.
Remember Osama Bin Laden.
CIA brought him to power by trying to go after Russia.
LOL. Clever. To take the less convoluted route, GraHAM Fuller is obviously connected to Kevin BACON.
HAM and BACON.
GRRRRRREAT post, bgill, thanks! Thanks very much for the ping, null and void. BTTT!
Thanks for your posts concerning Graham Fuller. BTTT!
How many muslims have been imported specifically to work in food processing plants?
“The Russian Federation is unraveling, and its war against Chechnya shows why. Moscow blames Islamist terrorists for the trouble there. But in doing so, it ignores Russia’s deeper afflictions. Russia has forced disparate ethnic groups to live together for decades but has proven inept at governing its wobbly empire. Now the fighting in Chechnya is leading dissatisfied nationalities to rethink their options — and their dependence on Russia. Chechnya was the first to rebel. It will not be the last.”
“The mantra that the war on terrorism is not a war on Islam ignores one crucial fact: Islam and politics are inextricably linked throughout the Muslim world. Islamism includes Osama bin Laden and the Taliban but also moderates and liberals. In fact, it can be whatever Muslims want it to be. Rather than push secularism, the West should help empower the silent Muslim majority that rejects radicalism and violence. The result could be political systems both truly Islamist and truly democratic.”
