Though the war, torturous and life-shattering, lies yet ahead of us. God or allah?

I don't believe HR Pufenstuf is real, and I am not bothered in the least if other people want to talk about HR Pufenstuf as if he is real.

What sense does it make to be so terrified of that which you insist does not exist.

"It's disheartening to know that the Pentagon has given such a cretin as much as the time of day."

Indeed. The fact that this notion was even brought up says bad things about the current leadership of the military. I don't know if the rot is in the civilian leadership or the military leadership (or both), but it is obvious that it exists.

What about chaplains?

Still, because it is subjective I find merely expressing Biblical values in one’s walk is enough - even as a silent witness - is enough to anger those opposed to Christianity.
Any overt mention of anything is pushing it. Being around people hostile to Christianity - their hypocrisy knows no bounds. They curse God and push their crap on a person nonstop - or feel free to express their views but they are the sane normal ones and have that right as it’s not dogmatic or religious when they do it.

It it were me I’d be in big trouble as I would definitely get someone riled up enough to submit a complaint. To be smart about it is obviously the way people are gonna have to be. Watch what one says and who is in earshot.

It’s sad. I remember at work when Obama got elected I told people before this guy is out Americans will have to silence their criticism if they don’t want a ton of trouble - just like in other tyrannies.

Not to mention the fact that the political philosophy upon which our founding documents were built were informed by distinctly Judeo-Christian (western) ideas. I would hope that any individual who swore to protect and defend the US (and her constitution) would want to know what the heck it was. Our form of government would never have been envisioned by a Muslim mind.

I would imagine that for many service members it’s their faith that sustains them in some of the most horrific circumstances, and to suggest that they cannot share their faith is perhaps the most disgusting thing yet that has come out of the Obama Administration.

You just don’t see any athiests on the front line
telling dying servicemen, “There is no god.”

It most likely originates with civilian leadership, which would be expected. What is troubling is the apparent lack of push back from the brass.

I have to believe it’s both. Since the current CinC took office, for the most part, the leadership in the military seems like they’ve not just obeyed orders but have supported his “change” thing.

You may have stated it better than I with the apparent lack of pushback from the brass.

Pentagon Changes Mind, Says Soldiers Can Share Faith

That's the end of it? NOT BY A LONG SHOT!

Has anyone seen a copy of the original order? Who signed it?
Where did it originate? How high or low was the originator of this stupidity?

Yes, this is a big deal. The Fourth and Second Amendments are well under attack for years now.
This time they are attacking the First.
Are "they" systematically dismantling the Bill of Rights one at a time?

Who are "they?"
They are likely appointed bureaucrats or czars empowered to do what neither Courts nor the Congress would dare. They all enjoy the fatal combination of arrogance and stupidity, and count on the anonymity of a growing gigantic bureaucracy.

An FOI request by the proper person(s) in Congress can force an immediate answer. Whoever the responsible party or "committee" is they should be gone immediately, and banned from direct or indirect governmental positions permanently.

Enough is enough.

As long as they are bringing in this Weinstein character they'll continue to come up with the wrong answer.

Frankly, he's created such dissension and disorder in the ranks it'd probably be best to hang him.

It sure looks like the military leadership is devolving in to a bunch of CYA girlymen.

We cannot let these snakes go back to hide in the grass to strike again. We need to find out the members of the DoD leadership that were behind this and “Alinsky” them. We need to protest them at their homes, places of worship, call them out at any public event, write articles, see if we can get them booted from fraternal organizations that they belong to, etc.

You got to demoralize the military and get a full corps of “Citizen Soldiers” to do the brown boot brown shirt thing against the people!
