7 American Service Members Killed in Afghanistan
abc ^ | 5-4-13 | PATRICK QUINN /AP

even U.S. soldiers and a member of the NATO-led coalition were killed on Saturday in one of the deadliest days for Americans and other foreign troops in Afghanistan in recent months, as the Taliban continued attacks as part of their spring offensive.

The renewed violence came as Afghan President Hamid Karzai acknowledged at a news conference that regular payments his government has received from the CIA for more than a decade would continue. Karzai also said that talks on a U.S.-Afghan bilateral security agreement to govern future American military presence in the country had been delayed because of conditions the Afghans were placing on the deal.

TALIBAN LAUNCH NEW SPRING OFFENSIVE

Our troops fighting the War on Terror need us more than ever! Now that Spring is here and temperatures are warming up in Afghanistan, the traditional "fighting season" is coming back. That means more insurgents, Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters coming out of their caves to carry out bombings and attacks on American targets!

This Spring is already getting off to a rocky start as the Taliban announced a new spring offensive.

TALIBAN PROMISE SUICIDE ASSAULTS, 'INSIDER ATTACKS', IN THIS YEAR'S SPRING OFFENSIVE

The LONG WAR JOURNAL

APRIL 27, 2013
by Bill Roggio

The Afghan Taliban announced that this year's spring offensive would begin on April 28 and would focus on suicide assaults on Coalition installations, as well as "insider attacks" against Western personnel.

The Taliban, under the guise of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, announced the "'Khalid bin Waleed' spring operation" on their website, Voice of Jihad, today. The offensive is named after a companion of the Prophet Mohammed and military general whose victories helped establish the first caliphate.

The Taliban indicated that the attacks would focus primarily on the "foreign invaders," or Coalition forces operating under the command of the International Security Assistance Forces. The Taliban stressed that they would use "special military tactics" and "collective martyrdom operations," a reference to suicide assaults, and "insider attacks," or green-on-blue attacks, in which Afghan security forces attack ISAF personnel.

"This year's spring operation, in accordance with its combat nature, will consist of special military tactics quantity and quality wise while successful insider attacks, to eliminate foreign invaders, will be carried out by infiltrating Mujahideen inside enemy bases in a systematic and coordinated manner," the Taliban stated.

"Similarly, collective martyrdom operations on bases of foreign invaders, their diplomatic centers and military airbases will be even further structured while every possible tactic will be utilized in order to detain or inflict heavy casualties on the foreign transgressors," the statement continued.

The Taliban carried out several suicide assaults on major ISAF installations last year, including attacks in Kabul and three other provinces just days after announcing the 2012 spring offensive. The Taliban's most successful suicide assault against an ISAF installation took place at Camp Bastion in Helmand province. A 15-man Taliban team penetrated security at the base, destroyed six Marine Harriers and damaged two others, and killed the squadron commander and a sergeant.

WE CAN'T FORGET OUR TROOPS ON THE FRONT LINES! Now that the cold Winter is behind us and the weather is warming up, our troops will be facing more frequents attacks and more roadside bombs, ambushes, insider attacks and other cowardly tactics by the Taliban.

Please remember that this war is far from over and our tropos are still fighting on the front lines. Even if the media seems to have forgotten them, we can't! Move America Forward will continue to send support to our troops as long as they're in harm's way.

We need your help to send these care packages full of goodies to troops on the front lines who need them...please donate today.

TRAGIC CRASH: 747 GOES DOWN IN AFGHANISTAN

7 AMERICANS DEAD. ACCIDENT OR ATTACK?

With great sadness we learned today that a cargo aircraft has mysteriously gone down in Afghanistan. It was not a military aircraft, but a civilian contractor jet carrying cargo, not passengers. All seven U.S. civilian crew members - six from Michigan and one from Kentucky - were tragically killed and the aircraft, a Boeing 747, was completely destroyed.

Another civilian contractor caught the crash on a vehicle mounted dash cam. It is a graphic and disturbing video that brings up many questions about what happened.
Was it an accident? Sabotage? Attack? Here's the full story below from CNN.

Cargo Plane Crashes in Afghanistan Killing 7 Americans
CNN News

May 1, 2013
by Holly Yan and David Alsup

(CNN) -- A cargo plane crashed in Afghanistan killing all seven crew members on board Monday.

All seven were U.S. citizens, the cargo carrier National Airlines said.

The crash happened shortly after takeoff from Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan....

"This was a purely cargo flight and no passengers were aboard," a company statement said. "Cargo consisted of vehicles and routine general cargo."

*snip*

The cause of the crash has not been determined.

But Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said his group shot down the aircraft and that "several foreign soldiers were killed."

That claim could not be immediately verified. But in the past, the Taliban has exaggerated casualty figures.

It's very sad to see things like this happen. Questions remain about the validity of the Taliban claim on responsibility. Are they actually capable of taking out a huge target like a 747? Whether accident or attack, the fact remains that Afghanistan continues to be an extremely dangerous place for American troops and contractors.

Sad. Prayers for the families.

What homosexual now will Obama be praising and will Obama ignore the deaths of these seven heroes as he has done in the past?

Real Heroes Don’t Get Shout Outs at Presidential Press Conferences

By Michelle Zook

When Barack Obama returned to the podium to say one more thing at his press conference on Tuesday, it could have been about anything. Of course, a reporter had asked him about Jason Collins, but the president could have said any number of things.

He could have said,

The Assclown issued a statement of sympathy within MINUTES of an abortionist who was shot and killed.

How long until a note of recognition for the American heroes who died at the hands of terrorists?

Isn’t that what the 20,000+ Manpads that Tyrone Woods etc were working on tracking down in Benghazi are each capable of doing?

The Obama regime has made it possible for us to see 20,000 more attacks like this, wherever the terrorists want to take that equipment. If they bring those weapons to Chicago they could stand outside and shoot down every plane that takes off from O’Hare, just like that.

Somebody tell me if I’m misunderstanding.

Are we all feeling really safe now? What a great regime we’ve got, eh? Do we all now agree that it was such a great thing for the Obama regime to decide, independently of Congress or any other Constitutional process, to get rid of Ghadaffi - Ghadaffi who since before the invasion of Iraq had been one of our biggest helpers in the war on terror and who warned that the people opposing him are tied to Al Qaeda?

It’s no wonder that the Obama regime, which sent Michelle Obama to the hospital to figuratively high-five Hamza, the son of Osama Bin Laden (the “Saudi person of interest” tackled by an observant bystander for suspicious behavior at the finish line in Boston), considers it no big deal - a mere “bump in the road” - that the people trying to locate those 20,000+ Manpads were killed (even though we had assets ready to help immediately) because Obama went to bed instead of authorizing the standard protocols to help our men under attack from the terrorists Obama replaced Ghadaffi with.

Obama is a foreign enemy combatant who is arming and aiding the enemies of America - terrorists (as seen through both Benghazi and the Boston bombing) as well as the drug cartels (as seen in Fast & Furious).

We will strip nuns naked before they can go on a place, but it is no big deal that America’s enemies have been armed BY US to be able to shoot down that whole planeful of carefully-screened nuns with the snap of their fingers - 20,000 times.

If people cannot comprehend how dangerous this foreign enemy combatant in our White House is to EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THIS COUNTRY, then they are brain-dead.

20,000 is enough for one 747 to be shot down every day for the next 54 years.

No big deal. “What, at this point, difference does it make?”
