Divorce does not usually come in one big bang. It is built up over time with many little “divorcements.” Is this guy so important that he could not have sent someone in his place? Or, could he not have rearranged the date? Or, maybe made a separate personal meet and greet later to make up for it? I doubt this is the first time he’s done this, but if so, he has lit a fire that may burn his marriage to the ground.
