This "hostage" spent a lot of time at mom and dad's house -- so she had options to get out of her situation.

I don’t know but it seems to me if Dead Bomber had been a right wing Christian ...the wife would have already been in jail for participating.

You’re right that women who belong to the blood cult of Islam do what they have to do in order to survive. But this girl wasn’t born into it. She willingly and knowingly converted to it, and then married her terrorist AFTER he violently assaulted her.
To say she was enslaved implies a lack of power on her part, but that’s just not accurate. She voluntarily renounced her way of life and jumped into the shackles....even after her slavemaster beat her up.
Also, the girl initially dreamed of going into the Peace Corps, so she was most likely a stupid leftist who refused to open her eyes to the reality of Islam. Where she’s concerned, I have zero sympathy. The cops can pursue her into the ground for all I care.
Tamerlan’s family is not all that opposed to divorce. His parents divorced. His sister divorced. Your sweet little all-American wife of his apparently has a strong family unit of support for her so she could have gotten out of the marriage any time she wanted. Her neighbors have said they heard loud arguments and heard her yelling. Sure, it’s also been reported he was demanding and called her every name in the book but it appears she was able to hold her own. He didn’t lock her inside the 800 sq ft apartment 24/7. She had an outside job, a car, a computer and cell phone, and was able to go to her parents’ anytime she wished. Heck, Tamerlan was in Russia for six months but instead of getting out she welcomed him back with open arms. No, I disagree with you. She could have left any time she wanted. She made the decision to stay. He’s been dead and gone for 3 weeks yet she’s made the decision to not shed her potato sacks and put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. No, I don’t have an ounce of sympathy for her.
I recall reading that he beat up his first girlfriend and was arrested for it. But I don’t remember reading he beat his wife.
But I agree that her liberal family probably set her up to be ‘tolerant’.
She wasn’t married all that long and she had a baby, and further she worked 80 hours a week while her loser husband stayed home with the baby.
A young woman with a baby will often bend to her husband’s will even if he is a loser. Later after she wises up she will with leave the loser unless her life is threatened, and then she looks for an escape. But it’s not easy as it sounds.
We need to hear her story and the stories of her friends and family. It will come out.

Yep, I’ve posted the same. Let’s hope there isn’t another spawn of the devil on the way. The only one in this whole mess I feel sorry for is Zahira, the 3 year old. Imagine having the bombing hanging over her head when she starts school and for the rest of her life. If, and that’s a huge IF, Katherine gets out of this, her best bet would be to get out of those potato sacks and back into jeans and t-shirt, moves clear across country and starts using a different version of her name and uses her daughter’s middle name. A complete restart so she puts as much distance as possible between her daughter and the horrible monster her father was.
Teenage rebellion is normal. But embracing Islam is not. And certainly engaging in terrorism as an accomplice is a line that even the most rebellious of teenagers will not cross.

I don’t trust Muslims at all. You never see them debate and condemn in earnest the Jihad sects of their members. Any of the rare condemnations are for show only. Agree. Quite a stretch to make the assumption that this idiot is a victim of circumstances considering the fact that her home was the bomb factory. It has been repeatedly claimed that she worked so many hours that she had an excuse for supposedly being oblivious to the bomb-making in her own home. That claim originated from her lawyer.
