I am sure the piece you quoted is in error. He was never arrested for assaulting his wife. He was arrested for assaulting a former girlfriend.
Let’s get the facts straight.
If it’s wrong, tell it to the Daily Mail.
Still not able to dredge up any sympathy here.
Yes. Trying to excuse this young woman as though she were a helpless child simply doesn’t work. She was old enough to know better, and she’s responsible for the choices she made.
> “Tamerlan had a prior assault and battery charge, years before he planned the Boston Marathon bombing on April 15.”
> “Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the men responsible for the Boston Marathon bombing, was arrested in 2009 for hitting his then-girlfriend, Nadine Ascencao, after an argument about another woman. This photo proves that Tamerlans violent streak started years before the horrific explosions on April 15.”
> “In July 2009, Tamerlan was arrested for slapping an ex-girlfriend, according to court records. His ex was crying hysterically and called 911 to report that she was beat up by her boyfriend, Cambridge Police Officer Angela Pereira wrote in the arrest report. Tamerlan told police that his ex was yelling at him because of another girl (presumably future wife Katherine Russell). Tsarnaev stated at the time, Yes, I slapped her. He said that he struck the left side of her face.”
> “Tamerlans charges, assault and battery, were dismissed before trial, according to Mail Online.”
> “Nadine has since said that Tamerlan was obsessed with Islam, she was afraid to leave him and he tried to brainwash her.”
> I went to his mosque a couple of times and even looked into converting to make him happy. I thought, This is crazy but I still did it for him, Nadine told The Sun. Tamerlan had taken my virginity and said he loved me because I was pure and hadnt been with any other guys. I was in love and scared hed leave me if I didnt do what he said. Looking back I had a lucky escape.
> “Eleven months after the charges, Tamerlan married Katherine after convincing her to convert from Christianity to Islam.”
To not have sympathy for her is entirely understandable. But look at what is reported that the ex-girlfriend said”

Young women can be easily fooled and charmed. The point to be made here is to broadcast loud and clear to young women in America and beyond to not have anything to do with Muslims unless such Muslims renounce Islam and convert to Christianity or Judaism.
Here’s a real life story put to the Hollywood screen about how charming Muslim men can be to women, impregnate them and then gradually and eventually at a quickened pace cause them to convert even against their will.
The story and film also describe how immensely difficult it is for a woman to escape Islam once taken in.
A film should be made of Katherine (without any benefit to her) and shown to every teenage girl. Her story needs to be told. And if her attorney demands money for her story with her approval, I say fry her on the chair as an accessory to mass premeditated murder.
No, it wouldn’t be normal for most rebellious teens but some like to take it to extremes.
Wow, Al Qaeda magazine. I heard that the centerfold is an exploded view of an exploding explosion. In their fashion section, black is in for the 5th century in a row.
Yes, I’ve seen the movie—more than once, actually.
Teaching teenaged girls about the trap that is Islam is a fine idea, but where were Katherine Russell’s parents? If the family was indeed Christian, you would think the girl might have grown up with a knowledge of that particular truth. You might expect that the mother and father would have reacted with horror to the revelation that their daughter planned to renounce Christianity in order to marry a medieval savage.
Yes, it’s hard for a woman to escape Islam once she’s ensnared, but the woman makes that choice of her own free will. “Not Without My Daughter” was made in 1991. In today’s world, a woman who makes such a choice does so through willful ignorance.
Being easily charmed is one thing. If Katherine Russell was indeed a Christian, and if she renounced Jesus Christ for a Muslim husband, that’s more than foolish-—it’s evil.
She probably bought the pressure cookers and she knew damn well what was going on.
<> Not even his arrest for violently assaulting her in 2009 could change that.<>
That Daily Mail sentence was incorrect and subsequently corrected. That was a different girlfriend that he assaulted in 2009 — not Russell.
However if this Daily Mail story is correct, then the hijab honey better cough it all up because the FBI have the content of her phone calls, including the one where she alerted her terrorist husband:
Public school teaches that Christianity is not inclusive whereas the ‘State’ is obligated to include all cultures, in other words ‘tolerance’.
I am sure her parents and family were shocked at what she was doing as it unfolded what a strange person he was. But so many American families are susceptible to this because they are taught to be ‘inclusive’ and ‘tolerant’. In my opinion these attitude and social agreement have to change.
Here’s the real Betty Mahmoody and her daughter:
Now look at the Wiki summary that I linked to you in a previous post and you will see that the writer of that post is crazy. He really sticks in his ‘social attitude’ to the film ‘Not Without My Daughter’. And he also references film critic Roger Ebert who noted the film made “moral and racial assertions that are deeply troubling” and that it “does not play fair with its Muslim characters. Now I look at what Ebert said and I want to throw up. It captures everything wrong with our media, our government, our schools and our society today. We are blamed for our witness to the truth. Instead our government, schools, media and society should be putting Muslims on the hot seat again and again to demonstrate their allegiance to our Bill of Rights and our universal American values. It will never happen until we stop being pushovers and start demanding Muslims show us compliance and not the other way around.
If I had been Katherine’s father I and a few of my Marine Corps family members would have taken this puke Tamerlan for a drive and read him the riot act. But that’s the old America, the old John Wayne America.
How do you like this: Typical muzzie abuse as well. Wow, honey. We are so proud you chose to marry a muzzie! They treat woman so well!
I don’t buy the she was beaten angle....I think she was very willing.
“Not exactly convincing evidence. It means she doesnt dust and lets her husband use her computer.”
While she was at work 80 hours a week as a nurse’s aide.
Spare her. She knew nothing about the April 15 bombings because the brothers decided to do it at the last minute.
Now ask her about July 4 bombings.Chances are she knew about that one.
First I'd heard that.
The residence was 410 Norfolk Street, Apt 3, Cambridge, MA 02139. So, that would mean it was the basement of the building, not of their residence.
That supports her case. They probably handled the materials in the apartment, then decided to move the assembly activity to the basement in order to hide it from her, while taking greater risk that someone else with access to the basement might discover them.
As for the magazine on the laptop, they'd have to prove she downloaded it. That will be hard unless it was set up with multiple accounts, which is unlikely. I doubt she took it to her home health aide job. That likely means the brothers had unfettered access to it while she was supporting the household working 80-hour weeks.
Thank you. I wasn’t aware the UK article was incorrect.
This is going to get very interesting. “Hijab honey?” LOL.....
I agree with you one hundred percent. And you're right, the Wiki article made my head explode. Every one of those lunatic reviews completely ignored the fact that it was a TRUE STORY.
"If I had been Katherines father I and a few of my Marine Corps family members would have taken this puke Tamerlan for a drive and read him the riot act. But thats the old America, the old John Wayne America."
Yes. And a much more honorable, righteous one it was.
Or stupid enough not to really notice what he was doing.
Hard to say.
