The Securities and Exchange Commission charged the Pennsylvania city of Harrisburg, the state's beleaguered capital, with securities fraud on Monday for allegedly releasing misleading public statements and financial information.

Harrisburg, which is under state receivership after its finances became mired by a scheme to upgrade a trash incinerator, agreed to settle the charges without admitting or denying the findings, the SEC said.

Chalk up another one to the Dems. Add in Philadelphia to the mess.

More on the way.

I live on the "other side of the river" from Harrisburg and unfortunately I work there. I often say the problem with Harrisburg is the people of Harrisburg.

The primary for mayor is next Tuesday. Mayor Linda Thompson, who has a degree in communications from Howard Univ. is running, but she is unable to speak the American language. She is also a butt licker of Bloomberg when it comes to gun grabbing, despite the increasing murder rate in the "sit-tee", yes that is how she pronounces the word "city".

Another winner running for mayor is Dan Miller. He's a leftist faggot. He has the queer vote in the city. Papenfuse, a business owner would seem like a a desirable candidate. He owns the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, which is a gathering place of "diverse" ideas on how to solve the sit-tee's problems. Of course the diverse crowd that has gathered at his store included Occupy Harrisburg with several visits from a domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers.

The last candidate is a complete illiterate, barely able to put three words together to form a sentence. I don't remember his name, but if Obama had a son, it would be him. The last candidate truly represents the city. It is a city of illiterates, quite literately given than for generations less than 50% of the population graduates high school, and those that do are still functionally illiterate despite their diplomas.

Harrisburg is like all American cities that have had Democrat rule for over 40 years. They should be fenced in, cut off from state and federal tax dollars and let to learn how to fend for themselves.

When I left the military I could have returned to my home of record which was PA, but also had the option of pursuing a good job offer in Louisiana.

When people ask why I chose Louisiana I tell them I wanted to live in a state where political corruption wasn't quite as rampant....

Does my rant adequately explain what is happening in Harriaburg?

What they won’t say is the Mayor is a Black woman who has no idea of economics or anything else except community disorganizing.
