That would be great. God, I hate this state. Please, if there is any mercy in the world, get me out of here.
We are very close to a bill in Minnesota for same sex marriage. After the defeat of the marriage amendment last fall, I would not be surprised to see the legislature pass this measure. Not at all. We have democrats in control of the governorship and both houses.
A vote on this is closer to the way laws should be made in a free country than a court decree. Still, no matter what the government pretends, I refuse to pretend that this legal fiction has anything to do with real marriage.
Its interesting the public is never allowed to vote on this...only the legislators. What are they afraid of?”
From the article:
“Last November, voters in Maine, Maryland and Washington state approved ballot measures legalizing gay marriage, marking the first time voters in any state extended marriage rights to same-sex couples in a popular referendum.”
Minnesota failed to pass their amendment last year. They are only afraid to bring it to the voters when they think they will lose. If the SC upholds prop.8 look for a popular vote to simply repeal it, it only passed by 52% in 2008.

I certainly hope you can swim...America needs Freepers. :-)
I eventually left this state, because the job market was down the drain. I live in PA now, and frankly, now having a job, I really don’t regret it right now. There’s plenty of issues in Delaware’s economy and public health right now, that frankly, I am not waiting around to see fixed.
Great! Now the people of Deleware will be entertained by incessant headlines/TV coverage about gays, gay organizations suing bakeries and bed-and-breakfasts in set-up deals, parents outraged over explicit gay ‘sexual health’ lessons in schools, transgender rights, more headlines about transgenders being able to use women’s bathrooms, more headlines about gays and gay adoptions, and on and on and on and on.
Maybe they think legalizing gay marriage will end all this.
Not so.
The big gay organizations are so headline-hungry it’s pitiful.
Could be.

But in areas where it is imposed, you will be forced to join in their fantasy if you are a businessman, government worker, or employer.
The other fantasy of pretending a man is a woman is never far behind anywhere that homo-"marriage" is concocted.
Rehobeth Beach is seriously gay. Fag city on the Atlantic.
